    My family Atcik ha’ta Hacha Hattak Yamasee. Many people don’t know Tallahassee is a Yamasee Chief. She speak the true. Ancient East Florida was all of Georgia and the Carolina’s was Florida shoh-nah-bish)

    We so called black people are the american indian not African we were reclassified in 1924 racial integrity, where it stated we will no longer cast these people indian but negro , colored and black and in 1988 we were reclassified again to African American coined by Jessi Jackson but not legally implemented into law or accepted by all until it was forced in 1990.

    The Yamasee were further up in Georgia than people generally acknowledge. The earliest accounts of them have them living in Georgia's Oconee River valley. It looks like they had to move south into Florida and east into South Carolina.

    Yes, the Yamassee inhabited South America from Mexico into through Central America into Florida the Carolinas which than included North and South Carolina, Georgia parts of Louisiana and I believe North and South Dakota. The Yamassee can be traced back to the Anasazi people.

    Here in Ohio in the village I'm from we have a town next to us called Miamisburg. In Miamisburg is a federally protected Native American Mound we call the "Miamisburg Mound".

    Yes, but more like, for lack of a better word they are a branch of the Yamassee, its a newer name. The Yamassee we still exist we have federal acknowledgment but not federal recognition like the Creeks. We have treaties with the U.S. they come to us if they find artifacts are burial grounds, acknowledge us on the news and newspaper and verbally, as well as, they recognized that we are Indian but do not give us any benefits.

    There are native Americans/east Asians originally from China and there is us!!!!!!! Indigenous ppls in which were born here. We were called many names but not all are indigenous. A lot of dark skinned slavee from the Congo were bought here .
