I think C O B R A is trying to say that when a Spartan is killed or defeated, they are classified as “MIA” to give the illusion that they never die and that there is hope that they can still return some day to help humanity. It is the first shooter game/non car game that I played. At the age of 7 my dad handed me Halo CE from OG Xbox and told me to play it. This was a decade ago. And I still have the same disc and Xbox 360 console I played it on. Halo is where I got interested in sci-fi, guns etc.

Idk why but something about this song just makes it a perfect match for the overall theme of Halo(Especially during the Human-Covenant War and if you read the books). The overall tone of the Soldiers never being broken, never giving up and always sticking side by side is inspiring, yet also very truthful to the overall theme within the Halo Books, especially with the Spartans.

The flood actually scares him. Read the books. He was almost killed/changed by a flood spore in the first Halo. Cortana saved him by overcharging his shield. He just doesn't let that fear consume him or get in the way of the mission.

Halo is one of the most iconic franchises ever made, master chief has been the most popular character in video game history (not including Mario and all the other Nintendo ones) games like last of Us on ps exclusive have very memorable characters, but they won’t ever rise to the top like master chief has. I love the whole thing and the we stand shoulder to shoulder part was awesome

Take a min to think about the Covenant’s perspective... You’re a raiding party on (what ever planet) with a Wraith supporting you, you’ve been wiping out Marine fighters pretty easily so far. But then you spot a human in much larger armor come *sprinting* at you, as the wraith fires you think that’ll be it, job done. I always watch this 4 years ago and when i came back its so nostalgic

The chances of the UNSC winning the human covenant war was almost impossible but even with the odds not on their favor the UNSC soldiers were brave and fought to the end leading to a surprising victory. But now the human race faces a new foe a much stronger one and it’s not looking so good for the UNSC so far. (That sounded better in my head than it came out)
