Been there done that. I feel your pain, it affects your sleep. When I moved I did not even want a house that was close to another house, my mother prayed and I prayed and thank God I am in a quiet place. Mine was a condominium, the worse mistake ever.

I feel your pain about your upstairs neighbor walking all through the night. My neighbor above me walks extremely hard like 12 am and 2 am in the morning.. he literally sounds like he’s pacing back and forth. I gets so frustrated I pick up a shoe and throw it at the ceiling. I can’t wait til my lease is up in February.. I’m OUT. People are not conscientious about their noise level. We’re suppose to have quiet hours from 10p to 7am but he doesn’t care. I’ll be looking for a townhouse my next move.

Y’all live less than 5 minutes from me. I used to work at the Thai food place over there and walk around on my break. It’s so beautiful! There’s 5 cooks that worked with me and they lived in a 2 bedroom over there and had roaches because they NEVER cleaned. I was blown away at how they ran the apartment into the ground.

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that your apartment didn’t work out! When I moved into my new apartment, my awesome Christian sister helped move me in. We anointed all the windows and doors with oil and prayed over the apartment. Yes, it can get a little noisy at times because I’m surrounded by people on all sides except one, but God has been faithful. “This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them. Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭34:6-9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ By the way, when are you all going to start having bible study? I can see you two having a ministry beyond KZread.

As a born-again believer who has dealt with my share of spiritual warfare for some time . . . just plead the blood of Jesus over your home and selves. The Lord gave me a dream when I was a teen of a giant that wanted to stomp me out. As his foot began to come down I covered my eyes and said, _"Jesus, please cover me from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet with Your blood."_ When I peeked through my fingers the giant was gone and I continued on my way. Now, since intruders of darkness are just part of being a child of YHWH, I come before His thrown in faith and say something to the affect of, _"Jesus I plead Your blood over my home and over me from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet."_ Sometimes I add, _"Shelter me in Your tangible peace, love, joy and the rest of Heaven. May Your sword fight and defend me from any enemy that comes against me to oppress, manipulate, monitor, deceive, cause fear or confusion, that seeks to come against my destiny and calling. Allow me to walk in Your victory in my comings and goings."_ Word to All believers, never let the enemy stay. I'm your new subscriber. Love listening to your stories and Bianca, I love your calm spirit, you are such a great listener. I'm working on that. Its admirable. Michael is a great narrator. What I'm saying is, you're an awesome couple and God bless your union continually.

When we move we always drive through the community a few times each day for a few weeks. We go at different times of the day, morning, noon, night, late-late evening and see what is happening and who is coming and going. It is just wise to do these things. As far as neighbors-- when we lived in an apartment, I loved it. I didn't like the animals pooping all over the place, but for the most part people were just living their lives. Landscaping happened every Thursday and it was LOUD, but it was ok. I just worked around that time, as much as I could. I have been upstairs and downstairs and choose downstairs because I don't want to disrupt anyone else and I like to exercise indoors. I'd rather choose to hear someone else than for them to hear me. Congratulations on your move. Make sure you Plead the blood of Jesus over your new environment! God is good and greatly to be praised!

Lol that was hilarious. I can so relate. I almost moved completely out of my apt to one where the walls were so thin I could hear babies crying and the kitchen was impossibly small. Like that would have been a biiiig mistake. Good luck with your new place.
