I'd rather be spooky than be sad.
This is the closest thing I have heard to Perturbator, and I am saying that as a 100% positive. Because it still has its own identity. I absolutely love it and it's the best Synthwave album I heard in 2019, merely days before the end of the year and just in time to make the cut.

@oreliomacchiavelli6703

Can you explain the link between Oppenheimer and fashwave or even general fashism?! Robert Oppenheimer had jewish roots, he was a part of the American Civil Liberties Union which was considered as a communist organisation. On top of that, he largly studied Sanskrit and Bhagavad Gita which are part of the Hindu culture... Doesn't sounds right winged to me!
@TheCartman283

@@oreliomacchiavelli6703 main characteristic of fashwave is a fascist speech with music in the background, i think it just had a similar vibe even tho Oppenheimer was not a fascist.
@andreasfiltenborg4952
3 жыл бұрын
@@oreliomacchiavelli6703 The hindu scriptures were written by the aryan invaders of India. They are essentially a historical record of a conquest written by the winners, think lindisfarne but the viking wrote all historical sources. The aryans were of course part of the indo-european language and ethnic group which are important when discussing the more esoteric forms of fascism (traditionalism, perrenialism, paganism). That is why a lot of what people like Evola wrote about had both Eastern and western counterparts: Indra/Thor, castes and a spirit of conquest from the best parts of society (vikings, colonization of the new world, Rome, the fire god of zoroastrianism and all that entails). To get back to the quote. When oppenheimer said it, he was of course referring to the fact that the world was at a turning point and that it might very well be doomed. I could analyze the statement in several ways. It could be hubris (indo-european word) as he sees man equal to the gods not through deeds, action and spirit, but through a material weapon. It could be viewed in the same way Atillas contemporaries viewed him, a barbarian who had no connection to the higher levels of spirituality. Another fun note: Magonia refers to a castle/city/civilisation in the sky, untouchable by all around it, thus being supremely solar in it's ontological perception. In english this means that it was a source in the same way as the forms were for plato, brahman in hinduism, what Wr-Alda was described as in the Oera linda book. For more info on this subject please refer to mystery of the grail by Evola.
Love it great stuff ❤️
