But the M3 cs and M4 csl are still to heavy, and on track a 911 GT3 blows them away. They are really cool cars, but I'd really appreciate it if they made something lighter. 1625kg is heavy! Especially in tight corner combination you feel the weigh of cars and also light cars offer much more direct driving experiances, because they don't need overassisted steering and brakes. I just finde it a little insane that even the M2 is almost 1700kg.

Great to have you finally back with a new awesome monocoque-based prototype with a Dallara chassis, with the awesome recogniseable BMW-Nose, with the finest high-tech components, e.g. the prestige DTM-class 1-prototype engine. Many great names will lead this beast into the new golden era of sportscar-championship. I wish you truely the success you deserves. Next goals: IMSA, Le Mans/WEC and hopefully some day back again in formula 1 and a revival of the class-1-touringcar-prototypes. I love what you've created in the past and everything you'll create in the future, I love you BMW.

i think car manufacturers involved in motorsport could use satellite tech..they could measure weather..track temperature..wind speeds..and this data could directly be sent to the driver in color map data.

I feel like MPowered would have been a better marketing slogan but maybe that one's already taken or something.

Ist leider keine besonders gute Selbstreflexion. Die Pace war nicht da und die Ausrede mit der kurzen Vorbereitungszeit zieht auch nicht. Bei Porsche war sie genauso kurz. Wären die Ausfälle nicht gewesen, wäre BMW noch weiter hinten. Selbstkritik tut auch mal gut

Too bad you let corporate greed dilute the M name and badge. Now more models BMWs are badged with M than models that aren't. "M" is just a marketing gimmick now. Hope you can pick up the pace in Sebring.

Don't dream they won't be going anytime soon... If that were the case, he would be wiped out by not putting enough budget and internal cohesion into it. BMW at the level of international motorsport programs never gets involved in the long term and without adequate budgets. They do not have the mentality of MB, nor of AUDI. It is a large group but with family capital. What counts is the financial profitability for the share price and especially for the dividends of the majority owner shareholders of the Quandt family. Sorry

You said correct "AIM for winning". When they won in 1999 was pure LUCK. 😂🤦 It wasn't DOMINANCE like Audi, for decades.

@@romb1818 In 99: . at Sebring the V12 LMR was the fastest car of the wend . at le mans the V12 lmr was the best compromise between speed and fuel consumption. For speed it was the 2nd fastest in the race (Toyota 1st) and in consumption the 1st, which led to fewer pit stops.

@@blocksource4192 I am not hating german cars. In fact I really liked BMW. I am disgusted by some contemporan BMW models, but not in terms of performance, but in terms of Griile Design... Like M3/M4 (normal 3, I like), 7 series and X7. I am not a brainwashed fan to accept any BS, just because it is BMW. And even if I would hate BMW, it would be because I am very disappounted by the direction of design where BMW is heading. That's all.

Come back to F1. (If you can afford it)
