This was actually made in 1988 but released in 1991. There has been a lot said about this being one of the first “proto jungle” tracks but there is also meat beat maifesto’s “Radio Babylon” released in 1990. None the less a very important track in jungle history and a definite game changer. Thank the lord for Lenny De Ice!

For me, Humanoid - Stakker Humanoid was first, but open to interpretation. ... Also, The Amen Break is about 50 yrs old so anyone who sampled The Winstons first could claim to have made the first DnB track if you wanna get pedantic about it 🙂

yeah stu that was one of the rougher raves,my friend saw someone get stabbed aswell inside the place in the freedom room,really freaked him out,so i took him on stage with bugg kann and the plastic jamm and dougie,we stayed there for the rest of the rave lol :)

One of the first proto-jungle tracks. Intro reminds me of Goldie's song Terminator from 1992. It is probably too slow to be considered completely jungle but sped up at 1.25x it sounds like Mid 1990s Jungle.

Transitional phases always get mucky if it means it goes to Hardcore then so be it because the Hardcore scene was banging and I ='m glad to have experienced it.
