If I may be so bold to say, the boys and Luke probably did the shoot primarily for Julie. She just lit up when the magazine came. I imagine the writer and photographers are very happy when they can delight their subjects. The shoot went marvelously and the article was spot on. The boys are ridiculously handsome. My favorite two shots of Julie and Luke were the one with the horses and pig, and the one by the fountain.

Lovely tho Julie is she isn't British 'landed gentry' so Luke very much needed - it is a business as Luke said at the begining and the boys know that's their future so they better get on board and help it be successful!

i just read the article in the Hello magazine and saw the photos. Your sons are so dashing! it was lovely to see the behind the scenes shooting in this video. You deserve all the publicity and the fact that this was in the same issue with Duke's of Westminster wedding its really nice. Julie and Luke are members of the aristocracy, they’re not royals, Rose. Please don’t read any slight into my words. There are aristocrats with English lineage more ancient than the current branch of the royal family. The Earl of Sandwich was created in 1660. The current royal family was Installed from Germany in 1714.

Julie has done so much for Mapperton, well done her! It is sad (almost annoying) that Luke still had to remind viewers on how Julie's destiny "has branched" when she married into the Montagus!

OHMYGOSH. That turquoise blouse ! SOOO. Your color. Those vibrant hues are totally your pallet

I love to watch the goings on with Luke and Julie. I did not know they had four children. I only ever saw the poor child that was left poolside to catch a turtle, lol,. The garden looks so symmetrical, neat and tidy in the drone footage. It is all gorgeous. I really liked the pig and pony photo as well as the family in front with the new eagles

I’m so happy about this! It will hopefully help generate more interest in your home and income to do all the necessary preservation work. I know it can be frustrating-we live in a 300 year old home in America and want everything done at once. But looking back on the last three years I can see how much we’ve already accomplished. We take it one day at a time, prioritize the things that need to be done to keep the house from falling down. So hang in there! You’re doing a wonderful job!!!

Congratulations! It’s so nice to see your children on the channel as well. Make sure that you get a couple copies of the magazine and store at least one safely in the muniment room in a piece of plastic so that the future generations will have an archived copy to look back on!

Due to a little Mapperton inspiration today, I got busy and researched some of my aristocratic ancestors. Indeed , Richard Brinsley Sheridan and Montagu hobnobbed together in parliament . Three generations later it was Lady Dufferin who sat in parliament taking careful notes for her husband because as Governor to Canada Lord Dufferin was not allowed in the building. All this ancestry inspired me to look on line for first editions of Sheridan's plays and I found one (online) in Wareham . Like Julie I am an American girl ,a California Silicon Valley girl. My parents emphasized the tough minded pioneer ancestors rather than many authors, politicians, and aristocrats. I am only learning about some of them now. THANKS for the inspiration.🌷🌹🌻
