Yeah, this makes sense. You'll tend to get a lot of recommendations, but most would be inaccurate. I personally don't like engaging in those mundane decisions, so I just allow a wealth manager do them for me. Been doing that since 2020, and have pulled in a cumulative of more than $213k.

Blackrock is buying up homes that nobody is living in to screw up the housing market and turn everyone into renters. Everytime a new neighborhood is erected it's in the 300,000 to 750,000 dollar range. Starter homes are not being built anymore. Bill Gates is buying up all the farm land and investing money into lab grown synthetic meat. The US government would rather give 100 billion dollars to Ukraine where we shouldn't even be involved to begin with instead of giving 5 billion to rebuild Lahaina after the Maui fires. And we have a weak president that can't get control of the border crisis or the economy. This is not the peak of our civilization.

I can tell you this. This Short hills Weiss dude has been sitting on cash (from what he says) so he lost to both inflation and lost gains of more than 8% average in total market. Only skills these idiots have is to talk non stop and keep changing their stance depending on how the stock ticker looks that day. In theory, total market on average moves higher in a long term. So keep buying and keep holding. You'll do better than these charlatans long term even more efficiently.

This recession is going to be just as bad as 2008 if not worse. Retailers are closing permanently due to theft like Target recently.

If she knew her history, she would know the market goes down once the yield curve is no longer inverted and since the market leads the economy, the economy then falls with unemployment being the last thing to rise as companies report bad earnings. 1st quarter of 2024 is starting look pretty bad IMO.

UAW strike will have no impact as long as an agreement can be reached with little effect on prices as labor is only 5 % of total costs

How can these predictions be so wromg for consecutive 4 years. At this time there is enough proof for me to realize that people really are wanting the recession for their own gain and this is Not naturally occuring situation

Recessions dont happen slowly... we can not have a recession, corporations and banks had years to prepare, rates have 5% we can cut, we held up thru covid and russias war... like what catalyst breaks this market?

If everyone says there will be a recession, recession will not happen. No one was calling recession in 2020, 2008, 2000. Only a handful of people called it during those times. The guys that called it prior was viewed as crazy and hysterical. Keep dollar cost averaging and ignore the noise.

Steve is almost never right

Once again the media and the stock market is lagging by about a year and a half. You've aleady been in a recession for at least that long.

No the Fed WILL cut rates. Powell has made it clear that once things start to slow down the Fed plans to use their "tools" to make adjustments to that slow down. But starting this slow down has been like turning a battleship around. And once it starts, look out, because things could get pretty wild!

come on, we've all seen this movie before. The Fed wont lower rates until they do, usually after something big breaks in the economic machinery.

"Uninversion" doesn't mean "no recession", in fact recession usually starts after yield curve uninverts.

This is no longer a recession. Not even a depression. Its Much worse, this is A CURRENCY COLLAPSE! And the world's slow response to America losing its status as the reserve currency is the only surprise. Note that a weak dollar can signal an economic downturn, now i'm wondering what the best possible ways to hedge against inflation is. I know inflation is a money-eater. This is making me worry about my entire $879k savings!!!

Not long ago amidst the pandemic crash in March 2020, I was really having investing nightmare prior touching base with a licensed broker. In a nutshell, i've accrued over $839k with the help of my advisor from an initial $210k investment thus far.

Keeping my money in bank could be no good but investing is riskier, I wish to find better value deals as asset prices keep decreasing but lack the skill set, mind if I look up your advisor? I admit this is the only way for amateurs like myself

well, the fed defiantly did a good job on expectations to make everyone so bearish to destroy demand... what if we're thinking of a hard landing and we already went hard and now it's softening and we have lagged effects that we are slowly watching to than have the NBER finally state we're in a recession in early next year or Q4 of this year next year and this is it and wish we had bought more equities etc lol always have that dry powder on the side just incase but sentiment is perfectly created masterfully...

These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $89k now to put in the market

financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 930k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2018, and I return at least $58k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

Have you heard of "Pamela Helynn Kirchoff? She gets featured regularly on CNBC. Everyone in my office works with her including myself. I personally use tax-deferred accounts to hold my investments. That way I avoid capital gains taxes. There are other options your advisor could brief you about.

About a month later during a difficult time in the market, things looked darker. Now they are talking about a small chance of lowering interest rates in March 24 and a 70% chance in May, because inflation is being tamed and coming down. A Recession is not in the picture. You got to be careful with these Trader types making prediction because they only live for the day or week.

Bond market has been hard pressed to get the message out. Inverted now for awhile. Recession is going to happen. Steve is right. But will stocks fall more than the last few weeks. Yes and much more than most people expect. Why own stocks when bonds are paying in some quarters over 10% for investment grade lower credit rating.
