Exactly. Tape or a bright DOT sticker/ tag and also there was already a few others on scene at the first wreck. Pretty obvious that it’s a scene that has been dealt with before they arrived.
I saw the Bronco in Matt's video when it came out. Saw you guys and thought "looks like Light Brite got their Bronco". Turns out I was right. Glad you made it through all the wind with minimal damage to the Bronco and no damage to you.
I got my 4 door Badlands Sasquatch three weeks ago and am absolutely loving it so far! I also went lux package and got mine in Area 51. I'm stoked to see what you guys do with it, I feel like I'll learn a ton about what my own Bronco can do from your channel! Keep it up!
What a way to break in your Bronco! I just love the look on Brittany face when the wind hits! Happy Trails to both of you!
I remember that day, crazy storms! try cracking a window next time, that always helped when my jeep softtop was lifting
Dorothy! We ARE-in Kansas! That is about the hairiest drive I’ve seen! But of course, that didn’t stop y’all from driving 78 into gale force winds, did it! Truckers are unsung heros. Hotel? We don need no stinking hotel! We got a new Bronco! Nice color - all your vehicles are Red, White and Blue. And you Still made it to Matt’s BD celebration (tow drivers are another group of unsung heros)! LiteBriteNationGoneWithTheWind!

Maybe this will help kevin. My mom is a nurse and my step dad is a Marine. Both worked their asses off their whole life and theyre huge fans of yours. They got me started watching your videos. What better way to thank them than to have that pull up in their driveway and you two knocking on the door
Congratulations to you both! I can’t wait to see the new bronco content! Love you guys keep up the hard work.
Thank God you guys was not on the passenger side of that semi whenever it went over!!! I seen pictures of a Bronco with a soft top that was in a blizzard and it had 6 inches of snow on the seats...Another , you guys are the best!!! Andy, thank you!!! ♥️♥️💯🤙

I'm just glad you two made it home safe. That was some intense crazy weather. And checking on those downed semi trucks to see if the drivers were ok.....man you are some awesome awesome people. Much love lite brite nation
I've been thru Wakeeney Kansas twice on my yearly westward vacation and have come across storms that made me thought I was off to see the wizard !! Hats off to the locals who didn't even blink an eye at either storm !!
IWatch Matt's off-road recovery all the time
Holy crap that weather was intense!!! Glad you guys made it safe! Looking forward to the videos on the bronco!!
Also, my husband and son were stranded a few years ago at the Maverick in Hurricane. Pulled in to fuel and the F-350 wouldn't start. Plenty of people stopped and tried to diagnose. Maverick was super chill and said no worried. Guy we knew from Vegas had actually moved up there and at least pulled him away from the pumps. Girl that worked there said her boyfriend could fix it. Other friends of friends, went up and towed the 40' 5th wheel back. And girl that worked there drove our fixed truck home. Don't get no better than that!
O my goodness!!!! That's scary & a heart chilling to hear the winds thru your jeep. God bless you two for checking on the truck drivers without them we won't have anything to eat, drink, things to keep us warm, & ECT... God bless everyone that delivers things around the world. Be safe & stay healthy. Be blessed.
Glad you guys went through that safely. Please take care of my future Bronco! I’m going to love it when I “win” that beautiful car.

Damn, that was wild. Literally putting it through the paces from the get go. Can’t wait to see what y’all do with it. 🤙🏼
That was crazy! I had something similar happen a few years ago. Towns were flooding and getting closed as I was passing though. There were still stupid people on the roads doing 85 mph too! Congrats on the Bronco. I remember seeing it in Matt's video a while back. Can't wait to see what you guy's do it to.
That was scary, I drove truck most of my life, there is a technique to driving in the wind, just the power to the wheels. It gets tricky when you panic and let off the fuel. But I'm glad you made it back home. Nice looking Bronco, can a Canadian win that? Love your video's!!!
You two are brave to drive through that weather!! Not me but I’m glad you did so you could be at Matt’s surprise birthday celebration. Luv watching your clips. Going wheelin with you guys some day is on my bucket list. Enjoy life & always be safe!
Bright Nation! Love you all and as a single dad of two children in snow covered areas would love a Bronco to get us to school and back! We have watched for a while and love you all!! Be good and God Bless you all!
Hi guys, it's Brian with the pumpkin Gladiator from E3 Vegas and Big Bear trail take over. So glad you're home safe. Crazy road trip, but I must say, looked a little fun. Thanks for checking on those truckers. At least Kevin didn't break any tie rod ends in the way home, LOL. Tell Jelly Belly I miss my keep warm buddy.

Glad everyone seem to come out safe and you made it home to see Matt.
That was some insane weather! I love the determination to make it back for Matt's surprise party : ) On another note, I feel ya on having bad luck sometimes on vehicles! In the last 5 weeks, I've had almost all my vehicles die on me. From 50k to 383k on the vehicles, they all said, "we're done!" My flatbed (7.3L) engine went out, my daily (7.3L) also stopped running, I sacrificed a third truck (you guessed it...7.3L) to get the flatbed back on the road, my Jeep Ecodiesel is scheduled to go in too! There is good news though...my "Fun Jeep" just got out of the shop before Christmas so it's ready for the Winter Jamboree!!! I'm glad to see you smiling through your tribulations too... life's too short not to! Hopefully, we'll see you out there if you're not in Johnson Valley : )
I'll never forget that day. I live in Central Kansas and helped two truckers that had over turned. I got called to work for alarms, there were massive grass fires that took off. I'm glad to see you guys made it safely through that day.
8:02 And that's how the Bronco in AK got all that snow inside :)
Holy $h!t that was one hell of a ride! Made my backside clinched just watching it. Glad you two made it and looking forward to seeing some Bronco content Lite Brite style.

@@LiteBrite that was insanely intense weather to drive through. Very glad you two good folks made it back safely. Glad you actually didn't have to drive clear across the country. Utah to Indiana is just a little over half way (yeah I know I'm a butthead).
What an adventure! Awesome video like always. 🤙
bought a 2022 rubicon gladiator 3 weeks ago, and 1st trip home 🏡 right outta the dealership...same thing! 80km/hr crosswinds, rain, absolute dust storm! didn't take any hits, but ya what a way to start. the painted metal top definitely worth it! several days wet snow and rain, hasn't leaked a drop yet, im impressed. not sure what all the complaints about road noise referring too...plastic toppers?
What a video....that was an adventure in itself getting back home...glad your safe.....cant wait to see the build on the bronco....Jelly is awesome 🐶......egarly awaiting your next video...Safe travels
You guys are off roading on the drive home, true to the E3 Offroad fashion.
We might use that dealer, busy with a buy back on our JL at the moment and seriously looking at the Bronco as a replacement but man I absolutely refuse to pay the markup some of these dealers are charging ($30k over MSRP!!!)
I LOVE that you went through all that for Matt! He is the best!
You guys are amazing like the other person Ryan I’m also a truck driver and thank you for. Checking those trucks out… I-70 west and Kansas as a whole is very windy as you have experienced and is just as scary for us driving in it. Bc as you see there is not many places to pull off and the wind doesn’t care.. But for your content you guys are one of the major channels I watch for wheeling and crawling . You Guys have been in my hometown back yard of Tennessee and the Smoky Mountain Jeep Jam and also Windrock. I love y’all’s ambition and drive I’m going to have to get to an event where you guys are and I also love how you guys name your projects it’s hilarious 🤣🤣😁😁❤️❤️
Oh my God! Glad you got home safe. That was so wild to watch. Looking forward to the build videos and what you do. Thanks for the Jelly and Come On Kev! How’d you screw up Britt’s birthday?
Glad you made it home safe. I have fought 80mph head winds on a motorbike, because I had to be somewhere at a certain time, and that's not fun either. It also makes sense of something for me. I saw Matt's party on his channel and saw you guys there, I just didn't see any of your vehicles so was wondering how you got there. Now I know.

I have seen every one of your vids at least once, your love for your vehicles is clear, I will never forget you trying to protect your F450 in a hail storm (a picture I would love to have) or this drive home, this is a perfect example of what you two preach, go do it ! What a rush we knew you made it back safe but watching your faces that was scary, 😉💕
Kansan here. We had 80+ mph winds about 3-4 weeks ago around our house that ripped shingles and attic circulator fans off our roof. Sending them flying across the neighborhood. While also, bringing a tree down on the roof and breaking some cedar fence boards. Had a handful of tornado scares before, but those were some crazy winds without. Glad everyone was okay on your end.
That’s insane!! I’m honestly surprised that soft top survived especially with the quality issues they’ve been having but I don’t think any better test that that!! Glad you’re safe!!

Dayum that's crazy. Awesome of you guys to stop by and check on the rig that tipped over. She said, "idk if you can tell guys, the rain is blowing sideways" lol that happens here on Guam a lot of the time. I've even talked to a guy in the military that's originally from Florida and he was like, "I ain't never seen it rain sideways before and I've been all over the States, Germany, Korea, and Japan" 😄😄😄😄
I remember that day. I live in Wichita, KS and we were getting 80mph gusts and got hit by a huge dust storm. We didn't get rain but many trees and power lines down. Welcome to Kansas!
Excited to see what you do with the Bronco, especially in the stock configuration for a bit. I have a non-sasquatch Badlands being built and realize the difference but I want to see these Bilsteins in action. I've seen 70+ wind and it ain't no joke, glad you made it safely!

The pucker factor had to be intense kids! Years ago I took my one week old Jeep YJ (ordered new from factory) on a camping trip to Lake Superior in the UP of Michigan. Second day in a storm came through - a tree branch landed on my Jeep and a small tree fell on my brother's new Chrysler pickup. Talk about breaking them in!!!
I drove from western PA to Spearfish, South Dakota in the summer of '98 for a week-long seminar in gaining more tools to work with at-risk youth/providing family therapy to families in the home. I drove through Ohio, Indiana, Illinois (going outside of Chicago), Iowa, and South Dakota.....I think it was in Iowa I was in the exact same situation you two were in for hours......The sky/clouds in the sky were the color of somebody healing up from a bruise on their body with that yellow-ish and purple hue...high winds...rain coming sideways, and only being able to drive 10 mph. I had a handheld CB with me on the trip...I was in the 1998 half-ton Dodge Ram pickup truck I owned at the time...Stickshift, quad cab, full-size bed. That was a loooonnng truck...I kept asking the truckers headed east if they were seeing any funnels touching down, but the static was so bad I couldn't make out what they were saying...At one point there was a hole in the sky as the sun was coming through clear...but everything else in the sky had that bruising color going on. At that point, I thought for sure I was going to get caught in a tornado....Luckily I didn't. But that was a damn scary experience...I completely agree that it was a blessing that your dog wasn't with you, because most definitely she would've been freaking out right along with you. Take care.
I got news for you. Every single time Kevin goes off roading you guys almost die.

Happy New Year, thanks for all the great videos that was crazy!!!🏁🏁🏁🏁. I did seven hour in Oregon's crazy storm Sunday night. Just before everything closed. Last 13 miles two trees blew down and blocked the highway to Seaside😂. Ford I'll help test to.
That was through Kansas a few weeks ago. Ya, they shut down I70 for like 5 or 6 hrs. I live in Salina that got hit pretty hard. And I'm a truck driver and stopped and waited in Burlington Co that that day when it hit. I got home about 1030 that night, and half the town was without power, for days. Thanks for stopping to check on the driver. And you made through okay.
Another great vid, keep up the good work y’all!!!! And also sweet new rig you guys, that’s great that y’all might be giving it to a fan
No better reason to risk life, limb and windshield than to celebrate Matt's birthday. Offroading is first and foremost about friendships and you've got a good one with him.
Hell yes!! Been waiting for you guys to get your Bronco FOREVER it feels like. Now we can get some real Bronco content and feedback. In a way it's good your late to the game. More products to chose from so you can choose wisely instead of having to go with the only things that were available at first. So freaking excited to see what you do. It feels like the begining of the Stepchild all over again. Don't give it away yet!! I wanna see a couple years of Bronc content.
The lovely weather of the middle country. Be careful driving in the median sometimes there are things that do not belong there like vehicle parts. Glad you made it safe that was a good test for the bronco. I hope you guys have a happy, safe and healthy new year.
I loved all the twister references!! One of my all time fave movies! As for the bronco, at least put some skids, sliders, and a steel rear bumper on if anything.
As a lifelong Kansan from Manhattan Kansas, this was once in a lifetime storm. We have never had sustained 90 mph winds. Glad you guys are ok, but yes Kansas tends to be a bit windy. You all went through the absolute worst of it. We lost every sign on our stores as well as pieces of buildings. Thanks for checking on people. The dust was from wildfires that happened in southern Kansas.
Went through that same storm that day with the whole family piled in the suburban on our own cross country trip. We had to find back roads to get back home to our own part of Utah. Crazy day. And as a trucker, I really appreciate you keeping an eye out too. My setup is a lot heavier and less sensitive to wind than those poor van drivers, but I feel for them too. Keep up the good work.
I was driving through that same storm just north to south. It literally rained dirt. Glad you guys made it safe but also glad you got the full Midwest experience.
People underestimate the power of the wind. Straight line winds like that as you demonstrated can flip a big rig. Sometimes you just have to decide if your safety is more important than reaching your destination on time.
Yeah we wants to see it, glad you guys made it safe, yeah that was a little scary trip appreciate you sharing, and a happy 2022 I’ll be watching for more
Omg I love you guys and the content you guys create! Beyond my words can describe all the great things you guys do in each episode! It's just so wholesome, helpful, expert, knowledgeable... sincere and genuine I can't help but smile. Thanks for all that you guys do. Keep up the good work!! You guys are such a great team and couple! Looking forward to all your adventures to come!
That was one wild ride across Kansas with Dorthy and Todo with a pucker factor of 99. Glad you made it home safely. Next we get to watch Kevin go wild with the Bronco.
Ok, that was a wild ride ... but hey, now you can order some sort of tempered glass for the Bronco, and test that out. Maybe the guys that made the Jeep windshield have something for it ? there's always a silver lining, if one looks hard enough. On a sidenote, I always thought the Bronco would make for a neat Baja style build, or a Beach Bum sort of vehicle. A beach vehicle would also make a good excuse for going to the beach more! It would probably also make a good overlander. And Jelly was so cute ! 🥰
Just another story to tell.🤣 And the Twister reference was perfect...lol. congratulations on the Bronco!
We had roof damage from the same storm here in Manhattan, KS... Welcome to the Heartland, we can have Rain, Fire, Snow, and Sunshine all within the same day. You don't like the weather in Kansas just wait an hour... We have lots of open spaces glad you got off the beaten path....lol I was working and didn't get to enjoy the crazy winds you did. Semi Trailers going up on one side/ two wheels definitely seen it many times traveling east-west, west-east. The word Kansas comes from a Sioux word meaning "people of the south wind"!!! I'll be making the same trek this Monday 10 January 2022 on my way to Winter 4x4 Jamboree. Hope to see you guys!!!a
Whoa! glad you guys made it back safely...good looking out checking on those drivers... Gonna be a fun year watching Lite Brite Nation!!!
Bronco baptism by fire. 🔥 I’m always amazed at the wind in the Midwest.
I ordered my Bronco (not the one in the profile pic) from the same dealer after watching this video more than a year ago. I converted to a 4dr. Heritage Editon back in October 2022 and finally brought her home today. Nothing crazy like in your video but I did have to drive through a pretty bad rainstorm for about 2 of the 5-1/2 hour drive.
I'm a tow truck driver in Wyoming ,that is an every day Occurrence when when they drive empty. Be safe out there guys
Much love and respect for you showing concern for the truckers. Some of these guys are away from home for weeks on end and have to deal with idiots like me. Stay blessed!
I think it is so cool that you wanted to get home for Matt's birthday surprise. I want to move to Hurricane, so many cool people there.
I live in Iowa. That storm was crazy! I can't believe it doesn't have a name. Glad y'all are safe. Looking forward to the Bronco videos. I'm a long time Bronco fan. I also used to be a Ford tech years ago.

This reminded me of my trip. Bought a red Venza in Saint George Utah, drove home to Minnesota and it was pummeled by not one but two hail storms. We still have her.
*Welcome to Kansas. My home state. Our wind gauge is a 3 foot section of 5/8" Log chain. We tack the chain to a tall post in an open field... If the chain stands out flat to the ground.... the wind is really blowing. And, Yes I could use a new Bronco... IF you decide to give it away.*
You literally drove thru craziness. It was good of you guys to stop and check on those truck drivers. Glad you had a safe trip. And then there was Matt’s Off Road Corvair and Matt. Pretty cool. Take care. 👍❤️
Glad you are all safe. I was driving my Gladiator Michigan to Arizona was doing the St. Louis to Oklahoma City leg on that Wed. I 44 was not as bad as I 70 and we didn’t get the rain. Winds were strong, however not as bad as what you encountered. My windshield is pitted and has 1 chip. What an experience.
First off- Good on you for understanding that we the viewer did not need another Bronco Review - I watch a lot of you tube videos on cars and such and you are right! Secondly - you were in Kansas - and the Twister references (there is a cow and another cow - oh that was the same cow.) Third- The was Matt- I saw Matt's video on his channel on his birthday. I also commented on Matt's channel that LiteBrite (you two) were the ones that told Matt to start filming his recoveries on you tube!
This video really shows just how intense you two are. Driving in wicked weather to make it back for a birthday is crazy. Your concern for human life is shown and appreciated by checking the rolled trucks. Now on to, hey Kevin, please think of us when you guys are ready to give the Bronco away. After seeing your Plan B video it looks like you guys will be having too much fun to think about giving it away anytime soon. We would be happy to take it as is, license plate holder or not. Enjoy your new toy. Thanks for all the great videos. Our plans are to go west soon, maybe we will cross paths. We have never been to Sand Hallow.
We’ve been in wind like this several times on I80, they close the on ramps when the wind gets above 70! But if you’re already on the highway you just shoulder down and keep going. We counted a dozen big rigs blown over in one 5 mile stretch last Christmas
So glad you guys got back safe. Great video as always😎. We have unfortunately been first responders in a semi street motorcycle accident. So glad we stopped though cause it wasn't good. You always hope the outcome is better than worst case scenario
WOWW you guys are friends with Matt... This surprise was the best part of the video for me. niceeee and congrats for BRONOCOOOO
WHOA!! Glad you made it back safely!! And cool checking on all the drivers!
Glad to see u guys got your bronco, and Kevin and Britt looks great in it, I think my wife and I could look just as good in it😉😉, the trip looked crazy yet fun, glad you both made it safe, thank you for sharing your adventures and look forward to more and more. Much ❤️ to you guys stay safe.
Y’all are hysterical and awesome. I’ve seen a few of your videos now (subscribed). Looking forward to diving deeper into your content. 👍🏻
What a ride! Not only the actual travel but the Bronco as well. It’s a good thing y’all didn’t have to call Matt to get you out 🤣. Well, if y’all decide to ‘allow’ someone to be the new owner, my name would be the one that falls out of the basket and gets swept away by the cleaning lady. That’s my luck.
Hahahaha!!! Kevin, you messing up the birthday there had me rolling for no other reason than the fact that I would do that too! Also, I watched the entire video scratching my head over why the heck y'all would be trekking through those storms. Seeing that you made ole boy's birthday is just par for the course for how wonderful y'all are! Glad you made it safe and as always stay frosty!
I totally loved the Twister movie references!! Lmao! I’m glad y’all made it home safe and sound! Much love from Louisiana
I bookmarked this dealership. I live in California and I have no quarrels driving back from Indiana to not pay 30k over asking a bronco. Good stuff! And those wind storms were WILD. I was in Colorado when the 100mph winds were rippin.

OMG that must have been so incredibly stressful! I was waiting for the top to blow open. Having said that great job on the dirt road end around and making it to Matt’s party on time!
What an intense road trip guys, looks like the Bronco made it pretty well though. Except for the windshield. LOL Nice ride and i will be looking forward to the upgrades ya'll have planned. Also what a great surprise for Matt for his birthday celebration! Cool Stuff.
We have the exact same spec in Cyber Orange and paid MSRP. Congrats on the new Bronco! Let's just take a moment to realize he was doing 78MPH into 80+ MPH winds with one hand on the wheel, these things drive fantastic! I want to do 37's and coilovers on a 2 door badlands with the 7 speed... just need to drive a manual first to see if I fit.
