As silly as 3D printing a fart is, I have to say that this sort of "chain of creativity" project is exactly the sort of artistic collaboration I would love to be a fart of.

I was looking at the comments, and I’m surprised I haven’t seen anyone mention that this is essentially an “infinity” video. They got the idea at the start of the video, from themselves at the end of the video. Once it ends, you can start it over and see it’s just one big circle. (Maybe that’s too obvious, so no one is talking about it…but it’s still surprising nonetheless)

I've been an Early Childhood, Kindergarten, and primary teacher for 29 years, using all types of curricula in both the United States and Japan, so I've observed a LOT of organic creativity across hundreds of amazing young imaginations. Rhett and Link's process in this project may be the closest I've ever seen adults come to the kind of wide open curiosity and creative risk-taking that I love so much in young children. All of us are capable of this kind of creativity, if only it were valued. Unfortunately, "adulthood" is interpreted too often as the time we must set aside imagination, creativity, and play in order to embrace somber 'have-to' responsibilities. I personally believe play has a place right along side 'adulting', and I applaud Rhett and Link for reminding us of this in such beautifully outrageous ways!

The piano playing made me cry instantly. That was so beautiful 💜💜
I was expecting to cry from laughter at a video with 'farts' in the title, but I just legitimately cried. This was silly and beautiful and so on brand Rhett and Link. Well done ❤️
The way Link looks up in shock every time he farts like a dog sent me to the moon 🤣🤣

They were old man farts!!!
We, as humans, truly are connected on a higher level than we understand. This video is proof of that, and I appreciate it so much. AMAZING!!
‘Your painting explored my inner heart’… aww, cue the tears! That was absolutely beautiful!
The connection between the dancer and painter was amazing. Posty note was hilarious. This is what youtube is for! So glad yall are making videos
there is so much i could say about this, because it was beautiful in every way, but one of my favourite things is the colour palette that remained consistent throughout this. rhett and link chose outfits that never left the turquoise/orange/yellow/white/grey realm, and they balanced each other perfectly. and the colours were reflected in the restaurant at the start, the colour of the food served to them, the colour of the sculpture itself, and the painting. i wish i knew whether this was planned or not, because if not, it's just one more layer of intense intuition that brings me nothing but delight.
the fart aspect is funny and jokey and all but i think this really is a very VERY fascinating dive into creativity and interpretation and art and all that i love it so much
“Your painting explored my inner heart” 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 beautiful moment in an otherwise wild video 😂
there’s really nothing like watching an artist just… be an artist. and when working with other artist, there is no judgement of the unconventional, because it’s an expression of the heart. i really believe only another artist can understand such a feeling.
This is awesome. I love how Rhett and Link just decide they are going to go "somewhere" with their creative idea. You don't always need to know your goal to go on a journey. And the journey is the best part. So it's always awesome to take that kind of risk and see where it goes.
How does this not have more views??? This is insane. Rhett and Link's creativity knows no bounds.

Honestly the perfect use of this channel isn’t for views but for an outlet
Aliya is so precious and kind. I never knew much about interpretive dance, but seeing her expression gave me so much respect for her art! Maybe the perceived silliness of the sculpture's origin made it even more impressive.
For those who want to see compare the two songs directly. Truly magical. Original song 2:25 Final song 19:47

“We human’s are not mere spectators. We fill the silence of the universe with a symphony, and illuminate the darkness of space with the sparks of imagination.” I have never felt more inspired to live my life to fullest than I was after hearing that.
20:18 is the visual representation of the phrase "mind blown" and it is beautiful.
Real talk, the "let's take an idea back home...I think we've got it...I think we've got it..." part made me emotional. It made me think of all the creative ideas I've neglected because I thought other things were more important. Thanks for inspiring me, Rhett and Link.

Those feelings will stew and turn into even more powerful works of art 💜
"When I hear Rhett's fart, I feel attacked, almost," had me in tears laughing. Like, I don't want to overlook the wonderful message that the video ultimately shows us, but that line was definitely my favorite part XD
beautiful video. i feel like all these art forms led to a(several) beautiful masterpiece(s) embodying and symbolizing their friendship perfectly. In the end, when they were mumbling on the couch talking about the music, there was something so poetic about it and the whole journey
This is my favorite of this channel so far! They keep getting better and the ideas are so simple yet become amazing. Thank you Rhett & Link and mythical crew! So many hours
I actually love this because of the celebration of different art forms. How it was done was very Rhett and link. And like for the musicians to basically get the original song out of that painting was AMAZING. Like I wanted them to have him listen to the original concept.

That was pretty much the only part of the video that I didn't like because it's so obviously scripted. The rest of the process seemed genuine (although it also may not have been) and I would have preferred an honest musical interpretation of the painting instead of an orchestrated reprieve of the original.

@Caipiranha89 100% agree
these new rhett and link vids are so crazy, kooky, and weird but always end so beautifully that it literally brings me to tears. i love these guys and their passion for music and creativity, so well done!
I’ve been watching y’all nearly daily for a decade and this has to be one of my favorite videos of yours. I love love love what you’re doing creatively. This felt like a love letter to artists.
You know what’s wild? You guys look to me as if you’ve barely aged at all in the entirety of the decade+ that I’ve been watching y’alls videos.
I feel like this is the essence of Rhett and Link. They take something simple, mundane, and human, like a childhood memory, or in this case, a fart, and use creativity to create work after work of art. I love that they included other artists in the process this time. It was somehow ethereally beautiful. From a fart. I feel like it's been I've been watching you guys for a decade, and your well of creativity has never run dry or failed to inspire. Feels weird getting emotional over farts.
