So I got it! The Carioca Runs in the International-Style Samba! Here it is.... LEADER: Side LF (1) Cross RF over LF (and) Side LF (2) Cross RF over LF more forward with strong leg point so that weight is only on R toe (and) Side RF (3) Cross LF over RF (and) Side RF (4) Cross LF over RF more forward with strong leg point so that weight is only on L toe (and) FOLLOWER: Side RF (1) Cross LF over RF (and) Side RF (2) Cross LF over RF more forward with strong leg point so that weight is only on L toe (and) Side LF (3) Cross RF over LF (and) Side LF (4) Cross RF over LF more forward with strong leg point so that weight is only on R toe (and) These runs can be done generally in Open Facing Challenge Position, and also in 2-handed Open Hold - but be careful not to stamp one other's foot if you do it in 2-Handed Open. Well she did smile when the music started to play... the stuff in the beginning is fairly boring to a dancer anyway. Nothing wrong with that in demonstrations.
