In fairness at one point soccer was a popular playground game that became a sport. Turns out all tag needed was a set of rules, a neat looking arena and some teams willing to play it seriously for it to have the makings of a real sport.

This sport really needs like slo mo replays for when the athletes do some particularly awesome movement. Right now it happens so fast it feels like the coolest moments get breeezed over, like they're in a hurry to finish before they get kicked out of the venue or something.

We have a loose rule that "dangerous play is prohibited". So far people have been sensible and we'll just have to see where that goes in the future. One of the reasons why I'm worried about people using helmets is that the tags might also get crazier and lead to more injuries.
