Coming this August 2024, Warren City Schools unveils a revolutionary, multi-million-dollar facility, reaffirming why you have chosen Warren City Schools, why we are the epitome of state-of-the-art opportunities and advancements, and what being part of the most financially stable school district in the region is all about. This over 120,000 square foot facility was partially funded with over $16 million in federal grants, and no additional taxes or levies were needed from our taxpayers in the City of Warren.
**First Floor:**
- 6-lane 200-meter indoor running track.
- 65-yard turf surface.
- 2 sets of study stairs.
- Student-run bistro. (where students can earn a graduation seal in hospitality management and entrepreneurship)
- Golf simulator room.
- Varsity ESports room (JV room inside HS).
- Long jump pit.
- Strength and conditioning workout area #1.
**Second Floor:**
- 3-lane mezzanine walking track.
- Strength and conditioning workout area #2.
- 8 student and multi-purpose rooms, including:
--- Sensory rooms for students with disabilities.
--- District curriculum resource and study table rooms.
--- Yoga and aerobic rooms to support physical and mental wellness.
--- Professional and educational seminar rooms.
**Back Wing:**
- 2-story robotics practice field and building facility.
- 2-story Health and Wellness Wing.
**Mollenkopf Stadium Additions:**
- 2 locker rooms for all sports.
- Referee locker room.
- Trainers' room.
- New WGH Raider Marching Band shell. (This shell will fit all of our band students and is fully ADA compliant. Includes a dedicated band facility room).
- New state-of-the-art jumbo video scoreboard and audio system.
This is an investment from the WCS Board of Education for all students, not just athletes or high schoolers. Bus transportation will be provided for K-8 buildings to ensure access to these facilities for all students, teachers, and staff.
With the support and commitment of our Board of Education, and as the most financially stable school district in all of Trumbull County, this building is not the end of our investment. Our high school and K-8 buildings continue to receive upgraded and advanced opportunities and equipment.
