WCKW 92.3 and 104.1FM radio tower (post Hurricane Ida)

The 33-year-old structure served two 100 kW FM stations 92.3 and 104.1.
A 2,000-foot tower in Vacherie (it was the tallest structure in Louisiana), co-owned by iHeartMedia and Cumulus, was destroyed during Hurricane Ida.
The tower is on Dicks Road in Vacherie in St. James Parish. It was built in 1988, according to FCCInfo.com. The tower came down with only about 150 feet still standing, as can be seen in the video. Luckily no one was injured.
Hurricane Ida made landfall along the Southeastern Louisiana coast near Port Fourchon around 11:55 AM CDT August 29, 2021 with maximum sustained winds of 150 mph (130 knots) and a minimum central pressure of 931 millibars (27.49 inches).
