Happy will reign a few years now as they push ud race into infinity. Before it was Human reigning, then Nightelfs and now we got Ud. I wonder when will the time for Orcs come? Nonetheless Happy is and will always be the best player he invests a lot into this. TH000 wont come back to the scene, I guess too afraid of getting trashed or he does more money while streaming. I miss him, he was able to play every race at superclass level. That‘s why I miss this guy, he was very creative at times and he even taught european players in secret…

@@KnightEnd25 I think Orcs were good in Zacard Grubby times, when they played WCG Finals. I think in those times UD was super weak and all other races were balanced. Just the Orc players were so strong.

Although zacard was too weak that time also Grubby always crushed by fly and lyn, but all other orc players not only pro but also the ladder could easily beat other races except hum(but just a little better than UD and NE when against orc) especially facing UD even the opponent's standard level was much higher than you with 3 hits of BM to kill lich. And Lucifron easily destroyed anyone except several Chinese and Korean players, also Moon crushed by Lyn. 1.24 was the most unbalanced patch in the wc3 history.

Happy has at least 50% chance to beat Fortitude (actually more, I think) and nearly 100% chance to beat Lyn. So Happy is still a huge favorite. He can only lose a tournament if Fortitude has a lucky bracket and/or plays consistently well and reaches grsnd finals and than maybe he can beat Happy. In any other case Happy would win.

​@@sanaebeast4485 At those times also the elfs were strong with Moon and Remind, I think at those times UD was just not as developed. Luci was good but UD didn't use banshees against blade, Lich play wasn't developed so well, no Lich first vs Human and so on. Many balance stuff comes from strategies players created, and UD got a huge boost from Happys love for that race. On the other hand if happy would play any other race 100% this race would be considered OP now..

spirit link is an excellent spell to seperate damage to against opponent without dispel no matter which race it is, you could see Lyn also using spirit link to against Fortitude, and UD is the only race without dispel before t3, but Lyn couldn't take advantages before Happy got destroyer.

@@cadukizzi Are you braindead? Disregarding buff/nerf discussions, most UD players wouldn't argue that this race seriously lacks diversity. Obviously there's still a lot of strategic decision-making involved, at which Happy is a god, but it is inarguable that UD can go for the same overall army/hero comp in 95% of their games no matter the map/matchup/what their opponent does, and still make it work. I'm not good enough to know if that's because it's OP or because all their other options are trash, but either one is bad. This is supposed to be an RTS afterall.

i 100% agree with neo - ensnare is spell deciding games. Even creeps can affect all game by just casting one. Imagine a race in wc3 being able to build units with ability like this.

Very frustrating to watch Lyn insist on bad strategies (mass HH vs Ghouls and DR?) and staying at fights in bad positions and moments (In the middle of the map with frenzy timing, instead of retrating) If Focus had Lyn's micro we would be seeing a lot more wins on the Orc side. Lyn won twice with mass air, a strategy he never uses but all the other Orcs had already realized is viable against Undead

Too hard for the top players to buy dust for 75 gold with 2 charges and click it once to cancel Happy's constant scouting/expansion placement f*ckery as if he doesn't know the usual timing for sacrificial pit and doesn't realize there is a shade preventing him from placing the building

If you watched SC2 matches, nearly all players would realize some zerg units burrowed or DT standed the place if they couldn't place the base on mineral field. In other words, Happy's understanding of WC3 is much higher than other players now, second one must be Lyn. NE players like kaho and colorful only have micro advantages.

If not Taurents, why not Wyverns against 15 ghouls instead of HH? Great games tho!

Most players stick to what they get the fastest. It also doesn‘t hurt that much losing a hh instead of a Tauren. Producing speed is what matters most I believe, at small maps if you mass hh and get all the upgrades their pinpoint damage is the highest in game (bloodlust and berserker included).

@@KnightEnd25 good luck with bloodlust or taurens vs UD destroyers. And if you are behind in economics you can't afford mass wyverns. And wyverns are not that good against mass ghouls either. Nova kills too fast anyway

no, the prize pool and scale of WAL is much smaller than GCS/WGL, don't forget these two matches were held by Blizzard. But Blizzard hasn't held any WC3 offical tournaments for several years, all matches like show cup, ted cup, WSB, All Star and WAL were held by privates like B2W held by neo and remo. On the other hand, the extremely terrible quality of reforged WC3 means Blizzard has already given up this game.

The reducing armor from acid bomb and orb of corruption are the keypoints to win with ghouls VS wyverns, and any other UD like 120 and Laby used this hero combiantion of DK+Lich+AL had never won focus's wyvern as he played this strategy much better than Lyn. In other words, this hero combination only suits Happy to play.

actually the perfect strat for small map as it allows to fully dominate midgame and ud will be forced to stay at home until t3+orb+frenzy+destoyer gold inwastements at 35 supply, while orc expanding with 50 supply and creping all the map.

Do you know why Focus always played mass wyvern as went to t2 without barrack when facing UD? Ghoul without frenzy cannot crush orc's base as burrow with peons can easily kill them. Also, using your brain to think why orc cannot go t2 without barrack to against Hum and NE.

not only spell shield but nearly all items he sold, only to train much more wyverns in a short time and misleaded Happy to attack as he thought the army supply of lyn couldn't be too high as Lyn made expansion and he could win. Then mass wyverns that Happy has never predicted in that time period punished him and he lost that game.

He thought it's better to invest into healing scrolls to keep all the army alive. And if Happy would see the spell shield he would then ofc priorize the other hero to nuke. So in the end the spell shield would be useless.

Nerf after nerf on UD and people still BabyRage about it. What about all years UD was bottom? And orc 1man everything with a blade? Or unkillable elf and humans? Dont see anyone cry about that 😂. From an observers standpoint, I don't understand why lyn did.t stick to the ONLY formula he's had some success with against happy: going air. He actually won with it when he did it, then tries other strats that can't win against any competent und. I don't understand it. Sure he lost the last game because creeps killed 3 wyvern, but had hed done the wyvern. Strategy every game, he could have possibly taken it 3-0...

I wasn't going to comment because I no longer watch pro WC3 for the obvious reason. But after I got the spoiler of the very predictible result, I will reiterate what I have said many times before: Lyn either plays Human Vs UD, or he will always lose. It is simply not possible to beat high level UD players with Orc in 2024, unless the UD player is severely out of shape like 120 is recently. Even LabyRinth has taken maps off Lyn. This will become even worse on next patch since head hunter getting nerfed again. All the games that Lyn has won Vs Happy over the past 2 years are games when he got insane items and played nearly flawlessly, or when Happy blundered with a big mistake. Even when he makes fewer mistakes than Happy, he can't win if he either doesn't get crazy hero items or Happy makes a big mistake. When they both play with few mistakes, Happy wins 10 out of 10 times. The DPS and sustain of Undead is just better. Lyn has the options of either retiring or switching to Human if he wants to beat Happy. I know that he has been practicing Human, so that is a good sign.

My opinion for next balance patch: give walkers piercing dmg instead of magic, keep their armor the same. They will then be able to withstand a push from ghouls and also be able to dispel the avalanche effect of dark ranger mass skellies. I think this is the core of the issue when it comes to Happy's current strat. Lyn never had this much trouble when Happy was going ted fiends with DK. It's the fact that he gets so much momentum from dark ranger skellies (and it is not easy to do. I've tried and Happy is just very good at this strategy). There are so many skellies to deal with that Lyn has a hard time focus firing the ghouls instead of the skellies which are not doing that much dmg (still good dmg but not as much compared to the ghouls) but instead tanking the damage. A mass of units is hard to deal with if no proper dispel. With piercing damage the SW will also be able to target destroyers as well. SW are not safe in ethereal form due to destroyers but they have armor that reduces some of the damage from them while simultaneously dealing extra damage to the destros.

buffed undead? What part? almost all ud staff is nerfed, and other is in non competive state (aboms, wagons, wyrms lol, cryptlord?).
