the problem with ghoul movement speed reduction though is also that now they cant run away from wyvs anymore and they just feed the enemy. Ghouls were never meant to directly counter wyverns but they were helping on the ground. Ghouls became a stable unit in ud play, thats what made the nerf that much more severe. It obviously dont make much sense to have let the way they were for all this time just to make the unit going from a stable in ud compos to literally unusable. At most they shoud have removed 10 ms or not touch it and just increase a bit more research time. Unfortunately thats what happens when devs cant decide the adjustments for themselves and have very questionable advice or "feedback" sources

Also in distant past ghouls were used to gather lumber and creep. Oh wait they still do that. Happy lost because of 20 mistakes before ghoul frenzy would even kick in so stop saying it’s because of nerfs..

I mean 1. Why ghoul should be stable unit like knight he gas no horse why should it run on max speed? 2. Game 1 he played horrible and lost till 8 min so feenzy nerf had no impact 3. Game 2 he had worst creep route possible and had dk lvl 1 till 6 min no frenzy to blame 4. Why should t1 lumber gathering melee unit win vs flying units with t3 upgrades? Happy showed how good necros are did not used against focus… and played really badly in this matches don’t you agree?

I like how Happy got destroyed in an early game in G2 (I never saw him having such a bad early) and everyone is talking about frenzy nerf as if Happy lost his early game due to weaker frenzy ghouls.

Knowing the game from beginning I have to tell: Its only rangecraft

I am 100% convinced that Happy will crush FoCus the next time they meet after Happy makes adjustments. Happy is an overall better player than FoCusa, although FoCus is a top 0.04% player as well. Happy just needs some time to adjust to the new patch. For those of you whining about balance, let me remind you that the last time that Happy played Vs Lyn, Happy cleaned his clock 5-0, and that is a 2,740 MMR Orc A nerf to frenzied ghouls *should* not affect a matchup where the Orc goes mass wyverns, especially since wyverns did not receive any buff since the last time that Happy beat Lyn 5-0. Might I also remind you that wyvern are an extremely squishy unit with light armor, and is one of the units that gives the most exp in all of WC3. A Lich with Orb of Corruption can merk a 60 food army of wyverns single-handedly of the Orc is not very careful. Also, everyone agrees that a nerf to frenzied ghouls was needed. Moon even mentioned on his stream that he found frenzied ghouls way too oppressive. Moon, like Lyn, is a gentleman and never complains about balance in his 22 year career playing this game. The fact that he complained about frenzied ghouls should tell you something.

Maybe orc can add dark ranger agains Ud with this strategy.. hmm 🤨

Nah, showed great things recently, after that big lose. He's rather known for consistancy and coming back. Only age will affect him in time.

No remo, it took multiple patches that nerf UD and buff orc for Focus to finally end his 1 year losing streak against happy. Let's be real, this patch is the worst and prolly be the nail in the coffin for the last standing UD representative

I always thought that Humans are over buffed and imbalanced, at least that's what I heard reading comments after games that Happy lost to Sok and Fortitude. Now he lost to Focus and I instantly learn that Orcs are imbalanced too. I wonder what happens when Happy loses to a NE player

@@timfink7980 ud always been weakest race by far, with worst t1 units and worst t2 units and worst t3 units in game. Ud heroes are mediocre and cant rezist orcish S+ tier broken fs/bm/sh/tc. The only chance for ud player to win orc is being 2-3x+ times better player. Even Happy being known for being able to won orcs sometimes (while all other ud cant), he still loses to much weaker orc players who just abuse orc.

Spoiler: Happy fun boys will say happy lost at 5 min cause frenzy ghouls are weaker… Game 1. Happy knows blade is here yet won’t care about lh and loses it 3:30 + loses ghoul for bad micro and than forgets blade is there 3:39 loses item too… has vision of blade creeping middle can’t decide to creep himself or try to steal decide too late wastes time 4:40. Forgets to macro and doesn’t build ziggurat … 5:40 loses dk for nothing and soon after ghoul too it was gg at this point too much game losing mistakes. Even ud heroes can’t make came back after that. Game 2 happe opens with worst creep route possible loses ghoul for free and dk has no hp left so can’t get lvl 2 till 6 min… game is over at this point but happy continues to make bad plays loses ghouls for free cause he forgets to use coil … loses alch for free too. Either he is doing it on purpose while blizzard still active to make sure so no hot fix for dispel and maybe some buff for ud or is letting his newborn neighbor play instead of him. 200 mmr display at best…

This guy is nicknamed “ emperor “ he is dominating with ud and even has quite some wins with hu. I suggest you watch happy vs moon grand final it was 2021 if i remember correctly and then work your way till 2024. That is a journey :) get your self popcorn beer and whatever you like you got 300+ great games to watch.

Finally this match is balanced for the love of god that took a while. Now is up to UD to bring new strats to the table and stop spamming workers and brainless coil/nova and win every match.

UD is dead, ty Blizzard for just hearing the UD haters and make the main unit of the UDs strats unplayable. The only stupid race Who is leveled around 1 single player, Happy (the worst part is UD is leveled by the wins of the BEST player of ALL TIMES)
