This is my favorite metal band, and it's criminally underrated. This video deserves 100 million views lol. Probably 10000 of these views are from me all the way back to the songs release.

I love the synchrony of the lead and rythm guitar at 3:10 it's literally one of the most beautiful mixes of harmony to my ears..

I love it when lyrics in other languages also work out in English. It's just kind of a weird serendipity. "Oh Glühwürmchen, mir wird es jetzt klar. Wir können das Licht nicht finden, weil es nie da war." "Oh firefly, to me it's now clear. We cannot find the light, for it was never there."

@@mowglig9382 I think german to dutch works best, even tho there are some words that differ in a weird way(wacht is dutch for waits(wartet) - wacht is german for being awake/guards) But its the same structure and way closer in general

Hell yea this is the best band ever, i listen to all kinds of music. Country, metal, rock, classic, rap, techno... but my favorite of all types of music is this shit right here, thumbs up if you agree!!!!!!!!

Been listening to this album on repeat for the last few weeks, been following the band since 2010 and I'm praying for a re-release of this album because it's literally a masterpiece

Still here in 2020 appreciating the beauty that is 'We Butter The Bread With Butter' before they went to shit.

This solo is just blessing to our ears. The combination of slide and the "Wah" pedal is just so beautiful. My favourite version of this song is pitched up by a semitone. Btw, the synchronization of a solo and the rhythm guitar is nice too.

Lieblingslied von WBTBWB!! Der Text ist einfach genial und tiefsinnig, ohne den typisch abgedrehten Humor der Band zu untergraben. Im ersten Album fand ich WBTBWB eher als gute Partyband, wenn auch z.B. tiefsinnigere Allüren in Schlaf Kindlein, Schlaf. Aber mit dem Lied hier haben sie ein Meilenstein gesetzt(zumindest in meinem Kopf).

I heard berlin, berlin! and decided to check out out their old shit. Now i can't enjoy their new stuff as much, knowing they used to sound like this._.

+oshiet kudafrickinsai There's 1 song that's similar to their older style on Goldkinder, "Das Uhrwek", it's actually a REALLY good song that sounds like it belongs on THIS album. As for Wieder Geil, the only song I can recommend is Bang Bang Bang and ever then...it doesn't come CLOSE to this stuff... I can't believe Marci could write a song as FUCKING EPIC as Der Tag An Dem Die...(the song itself I'm speaking of not the album) and then turns into an industrial band. The serious lack of tremolo riffs in the new stuff makes me very sad.
