I swear rap died once the 2000s came along.

Thank you :) I have another segment from Dj StepOne, but I don't want to force the switch from one to the other, something is still missing ... I searched in vain! dated July 29, 1989 because the 2 segments are 1hrs45 in all. ;)
MARLEY MARL PETE ROCK IN CONTROL!!!!!
The double beating is crazy
When hip-hop had lyrical content, respect, finesse, and a lack of swear words & sexual vulgarity. Great song to end it all, The Redhead Kingpin feat. The FBI "Do the Right Thing".

If you think there was a lack of sexual vulgarity and swear words, you haven’t been listening to the lyrics
@StretchinBack
3 жыл бұрын
@@qp8514 I don't consider the occasional swear word anything significant. And maybe only one song had that. And regarding sexual vulgarity, saying things that can be construed as sexual is not the same. Modern rap is excessive and blatantly vulgar. As an example, Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz Real N*gga Roll Call from Crunk Juice (2004). It contains more than 329 cuss words, including: 165 n*ggas, 61 f*cks, 33 p*ssys, 25 b*tches, 21 asses, 17 hos, 4 skeets, and 3 sh*ts just in one song.

Nah bruh, there was definitely vulgarity in them days lol. Trap exist because of the 90's , blew my mind when I really dug into rap history and saw the seeds.
