Cardosa has seen her family in the last 8 years. That was the first time they had been able to attend a game in the states to watch her play.

Folks, Fulwiley is a true freshman. Her efficiency will improve. But, there is a reason Coach puts her in games at the end of quarters. She usually takes the shot. She will be just fine. Also, her on ball defense has gotten good.

Fulwiley is a super star. No doubt. And only a freshman to boot. That said, her lack of passing, trying to do it all herself when it isn't there, and shooting bad threes early in the shot clock are going to come back to bite us down the line when we are facing a great opponent if she doesn't cut it out. The announcers called it out this game but it has been ongoing all season. She has great talent around her. She has to trust them.

She's just a freshman and still learning, those things are gonna get better over the off season.

Raven Johnson or even Bree Hall is more of a concern than Fulwiley. Fulwiley is already a better shooter and has more point guard determination to win than Johnson. This is Johnson's 3rd year with the team, but in a game against the seven or eight teams who have a realistic chance to win it all, I have more trust in Fulwiley's determination to win rather than Johnson's. Also Hall's 3rd year, yet her outside shooting is still inconsistent. She hit the key last minute shots at LSU - her biggest moment - but game in and game out, she's inconsistent from the outside - open shots she needs to hit. Fulwiley is far ahead of Johnson or Hall were after 29 games.

The worst thing about this team is the cry baby glass half empty fans. Gamecock fans talk more junk about the team than other teams. This gone come back to bite us that's going to come back to bite us. We don't have to get bit at all. I keep saying I'm going to stop reading comments but here I am reading comments.

Over the last 5 games 4-18 on 3's, most of which were early in the shot clock and unnecessary. Especially those late in close games when we want to burn clock need to be cleaned up. If you can't even acknowledge when something isn't working, it won't just magically get better. 🤷‍♂️ I'm sure she and the staff are well aware and working on it. I wear garnet tinted glasses but no so heavily tinted that I can't see areas the team can be better.

Looking at SC team stats for the full season Fulwiley has taken 275 FG attempts (most on the team) in only 550 mins. She has shot 102 3pt FG and made 31 (30%)....and she plays point guard. She only has 56 assists (compared to Raven 139 and Pau Pau 106). Hopefully, in the NCAA tournament, she will play more efficiently.

I get the shot attempts, but you can't call out the fact that she has less assists when she plays less minutes than the other two no? She had a big assist to Cardoso late in the UT game and countless others this year. Also, she has has made some big time shots when we needed them as well. She has grown quite a quite bit from earlier in the season. At the 2:50 mark in the 3rd quarter of the UT game; she actually took Chloe's screen, did a quick fake to Jackson, than cut between her and the help-side defense to get the "And 1". At times this season she has the habit of not always using the screen... But she's a Freshman and her ceiling is crazy.

Sorry but neither players sitting there was involved in back to back undefeated season because they were at Oregon or in high school last year, ask them the same question next year and they be able to answer the question. Wait until end of the NCAA Tournament and ask them how it feels to go undefeated and win the whole deal as UConn has done in the past on multiple ocasions.. I’m under the impression is this years team is better than the freshies and next year’s team is going to be even better than this years team. The recruits coming in next year should be ranked by themselves and #1 over all ranking but not be paper champions as LSU was playing a cowardly cupcake non conference scheduled games.
