My grandmother took me to the dances when I was just a little kid maybe five years old and I remember the drum. I was in my 40s before I entered the dance. The drum does call you back and I remember that night with my grandmother. This dance is something you have to experience. It gets into your heart and your mind.

May you be able to gather this year! May the language and lessons of the Osage be passed to the next generation, and may they be passed to and bless the rest of society! Blessings to you all!
