It's not just SM, it's because there were a hot Time of auditions and Many people used this to do scams, in name of big companies.

i'll never forget yangyang's coma that led him to audition and debut as one of the best rapper and dancer in kpop, that story its just way too iconic

@@yyangflwrs I've been in surgery coma too.. it is just like waking up from sleep.. some anaesthetic drugs like midazolam has amnesia effect.. last I remember before unconscious was my friend talking to me as she was injecting me with anaesthetic drug (I am a doctor too) then I was awakened "the surgery is done you are in recovery bay now"

The thing that made me fall more for NCT(including wayv) is their audition or casting stories..it is like they all are destined to join SM and become a big group..and I still can't digest the fact that most of them didn't even knew SM exists or had a dream to become a kpop idol

There are these kind of people in way aka Wayv's audition summary: 1. Being brainwashed to kpop since young age and was asked to join the company by their family member 2. Being followed / stalked by a casting staff in front of school for days until he finally gave in (this is creepy ngl) 3. Thought the phone call was a scam so he almost didnt answer glad he didnt blocked the number 😭 4. Passed by doing the simple pose because of his goddess face and figure but actually have hidden talent and improved a lot 5. EASILY BELIEVE THE RANDOM CASTING STAFF HE MET WHILE SHOPPING AS IF THE SITUATION ISNT CREEPY AT ALL 😭😭 istg im glad the staff was real staff not a scam 6. ✨ saw The Vision ✨

It was not the "Saturdays Audition". He joined through global audition. The "Saturdays Audition" is held in SM building in Seoul. Johnny, Mark, Renjun, Ten & Yang Yang joinied by the same kind of audition but in their respective countries... It's not the same.

sm idols casting stories are always like "i was walking down the street and i felt an ominous presence behind me it was the casting staff they followed me for 10 blocks"

Kun: i listened and there was a robotic voice Me: nævis calling

Xiaojun got casted because he got eliminated on an idol survival show in a China but SM saw potential in him and gave him an offer! Good thing he got eliminated from the show because the boy band that was formed on the Chinese show didn’t do well.

Many people thought Xiaojun was casted because he joined X-fire which initially was a survival show produced by chinese company and SM (though the joint venture fell through in the end). But during video fansign XJ said he actually got into SM by auditioning in 2017 (probably Shanghai audition)

I wouldn't say the band from the show Xiaojun was on didn't do well haha. The band wasn't famous but the members are super famous now. The show debuted X-Nine under Wajijiwa Ent (one of the biggest idol companies in China) and three members - Zhao Lei, Xia Zhiguang and Yan Xujia debuted with a different idol survival show in China (Chuang 2019) and were part of R1SE for two years, which was pretty popular in China. X-Nine's Xiao Zhan is one of the hottest (as in most popular) actors in China right now. They all have upwards of 10M+ followers on Weibo.

How about a big thanks to the one who casts Winwin? That person has a good taste, I see. And Yangyang's story is everything. Okay SM our maknae deserves everything.

Hendery and Winwin: Yeah, I was scouted. Wild, right? Fun fact: Ten was offered a contract in Starship Ent after Teen Superstar. He also auditioned for YG and passed but his parents did not let him go because he was too young back then. As always, I enjoyed this video, thank u!! I also feel like Yangyang meant general anesthesia instead of a coma right? Nevertheless, I really believe WayV are meant to be in a group together.

Ten is super talented and also trained in dance and music from he was a kid.. he truly meant to be a superstar pretty sure any company would have cast him.. good choice that his parents didn't allow him to go when he was a child because children deserve to have their childhood with their parents and their loved ones

actually general anaesthesia is also induced coma ("induced" because it is due to intended effect of anaesthetic drugs), so coma is a right word too there are four level of sedation in anaesthesia, and general anaesthesia is the deepest level of unconsciousness, which is coma

The way I heard / read , Xiaojun was recruited from Chinese survival show X fire. SMs staff / managers were there when the show took place. Xiaojun was eliminate but his voice and style got SM staffs attention so they called him . I found it on Twitter . They translated from Weibo

XFire was in 2015, no doubt it put them on his radar and probably helped him if he did audition but they definitely didnt recruit him then. I don't think he would have been allowed all his socials if they had and probably wouldn't have gone to STA if he was already an SM trainee. I think he auditioned/was scouted in Shanghai. I'm sure SM/agencies do scouting auditions with STA and other institutes like that.

Lucas getting in by doing the bare minimum - no singing or dancing at all - shows that all he had to do was say yes. SM wanted him that bad. And ofc winwin's cuteness got him into the company lol Thanks for the constant wayv content 🥺💖

The fact that Lucas had no music background at all but went on to become a rapper, sub vocal, and CENTER of WayV and was picked to be a member of SuperM is amazing. They saw so much potential in him asking him to be an idol instead of a model, and look at him now. Amazing

Luckily they (WayV) succeed with their audition and casting. So, now we can have the 7 cute guys to entertain us. Not only just become an idol but also comedians. 😂😂 Happy to have them.

As aespa once said : if it looks like a scam, it's probably from SM

The thing is that sm waited for winwin for 2 years. He got casted at 2013 and went to sm for a month during school break. But he also wanted to finish high school, so he ended up joining sm at 2015.

I'm glad he finished high school before going to SM for good. Just like Johnny. Going to SM may be a good opportunity but finishing your studies is just more important overall. It pains me that the korean members in Dream weren't able to graduate from high school due to SOPA changing their attendance rules.

Thank god for posting this so that people can finally see from hendery himself how he got into SM. Don’t know who started it but I’ve seen people being misinformed and saying hendery was auditioning to be a comedian but went to wrong audition place. Like no people. He was going to school to become a comedian and while out shopping one day, SM staff casted him cause of his face which thank you to that staff member and I hope you’re living your best life for giving us our crackhead of all crackhead prince.

I read a story about Lucas in 2019, after he appeared in several Korean varshows such as Happy Together, Knowing Brothers, Law of the Jungle, and Real Man, SBS then introduced him to Keep Running production, and then homie got interviewed and passed the audition and became the new MC in one of the biggest show in China. The boy got in only for fun but who knows he actually has so many talent. His dancing and singing eventually improves over the years, and I watched his Superm mini-drama and he nailed it, even the director praised him. So yeah, that is really something to be proud of. And special thank to all the trainers in SM. They are also very great to be able to 'produce' great artists. I hope WayV all the success in the world. 💚

To think that Yangyang didn't know how to dance but now he's a main dancer and also Hendery being a lead dancer and both of them one of the best rapper's in the industry is just crazy and insane. LUCAS AS WELL

You know guys, i don't believe in destiny, just sometimes as their stories. They were destined to be on NCT. It was destiny. My weird guys, my loud & talented af boys are just ON TOP. Love them 1. Hendery: just imagine, they just saw him and saw "success". 2. Lucas: a pretty face but wait... The boy had the potential not to be onky a model but an artist & full time entertainer. 3. Ten: brain washed by his fam 4. WW: being followed around his school(kinda creepy) WW school is one of the best in Beijing, just him being there mean "talent" 5. YY: the vision itself haha the boy was just seeing the future, his confidence gave him the chance, he was there up to everything and yet he could improve all his talents that he maybe didn't knew he had. 6. Kunnie: Global audition, talent proven. But such a innocent guy that didn't see it coming (him being accepted) ( a little personak story, I'm in the casted process for a job and since i gave my resume the first tine i answer all phone calls haha) 7. Xiaojun: as far as i know he didn't make it on a reality show final cut for a group, but as always SM is everywhere so they saw he haa ghe potential and casted him
