WayV💚 every NCT unit has their own style, even in their dance choreographies. I have a soft spot for WayV. Their dance tends to be a bit more smooth (i'm not dance experts so don't know the correct terms) and it's influenced a lot by their main dancer Ten and his dance style. I would recommend you check out their dance practices. If you'd like to try a new song, I'd recommend 'poppin love' dance practice

Every NCT group has their own music/dancing style but I'd say wayV definitely is the closest to something that I'd like! They're amazing!! Check out some of their stuffs and y'all will see! I love this song so much, when it all comes together at the end with the chorus, Xiaojun's high note, the piano, the strings, it's just overwhelming. Xiaojun is one of a few vocalists that makes me tear up with the raw emotion in his voice.

WayV is my favorite unit! My personal opinion have the best dicography. They can do smooth and sexy choreo to hard hitting as well. Ten is the main dancer in this group/main in NCT as a whole. He usually get that solo dance break when the whole NCT comes together for an album. He often helps a lot in WayV choreo. SM will not credit him but his members have voiced it out several times. I belive he does influense the group smooth, and fluid movement.

Highly suggested: REGULAR (their first ever mv) ACTION FIGURE (performance video that shows their suave moves) BAD ALIVE (bad boy/player concept) NO ONE BUT YOU + INVINCIBLE track video (shows the unique softer side of WayV) I'd say WayV has the wider range in styles of mvs, song and performances. They can go really hard like in Turn Back Time but they do also show vulnerable and delicate side like in No One But You. Other units' styles feel more fixed and consistent to their branding while WayV feels more flexible and "wavy". I appreciate both approaches in style

I know how you feel. Honestly wayv is my favorite sub unit. I don't know how to say it but they are different. There's something different about them compared to the other unit. I think their dance is more fluid. Their dance can be slow but suddenly fast in certain part. I recommend you to watch on my youth performance which is thei dance performance with English version. Another recommendation is : 1. Poppin love (b-side on my youth album) but it has short mv so you have to watch the dance practice to hear full song 2. Kick back 3. Action figure dance performance (b-side kick back album) 4. Miracle (short mv) watch dance practice for full song. Thank you

WayV are personally my favorite cause it took me ages to warm up to more of 127 and Dream's discography... I'd maybe only have like one to a few songs I liked for them but they have worn me down over the years, while WayV right off the bat had my full attention. WayV I do think have the best English tracks along with their Mandarin bops, so it hurts me inside that SM treats them horribly and doesn't promote them globally like the other units get. Love Talk is the most streamed song out of any NCT song on spotify and even the guys were so stunned the whole arena was singing along at KCON in the US. Each sub-unit does have their own vibe but is still "neo". Obviously the groups are multi-talented and can do different concepts/styles but they do have their own specialties/trends. WayV tend to be more fluid/sexy in their choreo and songs, 127 a bit more powerful/swag and Dream obviously with a lot of their earlier songs when they were young - youthful/energetic. DJJ and Wish are still new so would need more to go on but would say DJJ would be closer to WayV in style and Wish closer to Dream.

i hope you guys check out ten's solo stuff, hes an absolute beast when it comes to dancing, probably the best in the industry. some of his projects are: birthday (the dance practice is a must for this one), paint me naked, the "10" performance video, nightwalker mv, dream in a dream, low low with yangyang etc

WayV is my favorite unit, then 127. I love the way Mandarin sounds when they are singing and Xiaojun vocals are so superior they move me. He sings with so much emotion. Plus my ult NCT bias is Ten, so yeah WayV.

Ikr? Mandarin flows beautifully in songs. It's funny how it's actually the turn off to mainstream kpop consumers who think just cuz it's Chinese and not Korean, therefore it's not worth their attention. But then I listen to songs in all sorts of languages and styles so my ears are trained to be open to new sounds..

Debatable which NCT unit is the best dancers, but WayV is held to Ten's standard when dancing and he is hands down one of the best male dancers in kpop. When people talk about best male dancers in kpop they are talking about Ten, Taemin, Kai and Lay. Ten is also in SuperM which includes Kai and Taemin and he still takes the lead on SuperM dance breaks so... Winwin is also classically trained in Chinese traditional dancing. Ten and Winwin actually have a choreo performance video to Lovely by Billie Ellish that is worth checking out.

WayV are great at dancing vocals . Vocals they have the Xiaojun ( one of the best 4th gen vocals of sm) high notes, ten high notes, carrying vocals ad-lib, kun bridge Rap is great by the trio with different rap tones YangYang ( among top NCT rappers), hendery and winwin Dance, they have one of the best NCT and kpop dancer TEN (who released his solo album and one of the best kpop soloist ) . The way they they do their formation, dance break (thou not here) makes them stand out. Then their unique music. The biggest drawback is them singing in mandarin which isn’t that promoted well by kpop company like they would for other kpop groups. Every group deserves promotions. They're so well rounded, the vocals, the rap, the dancing, performing👌 I love this song so much, its so vibey and I adore the little details like the strings in the 2nd chorus. for me, WayV look more united in their dancing, so to say, they have quite similar dancing style - probably because their main dance line have a lot of similarities and the others can sort of fit right into it with their dancing as well, while Dream and 127 both have members who stick out with their dance styles a lot, which isn't bad, of course, but it takes away from that unity feeling I have when WayV perform. And WayV members are definitely all amazing dancers which also helps, and also with more time to spare due to less busy schedule they probably have more time to actually practice. I noticed that Xiaojun and Kun, for example, clearly became much, much better since debut. Being around Ten so much probably helps as well 🤣

I love wednctday, would definitely recommend 'moonwalk' and 'action figure' next for wayv, they're some of my favourites of theirs that have videos

commenting very late, but though i'll add my thoughts abt the choreo since you mentioned it. i think one of the reason why wayv's choreo mesmerised you is because they usually have the most smooth and often times lyrical choreography, which is also a bit unique from other kpop group and why a lot of people fall in love with their choreos too. 127 does have probably the most formations/dance breaks/hardcore choreo and that reflects their discography and similarly for dream, they have very poppy/jumping upbeat choreos respresenting their brand.

As to which units as a whole have better dancers and choreographies - that is almost impossible to tell cuz their choreos are limited by their brand and their type of music. They also had the same training and all NCT members are actually good/great dancers. I would say I prefer WayV's choreos more because they feel more balanced overall. They have balanced use of both sharp and smooth, fast and slow and then strong and delicate movements. 127 on the other hand have a very masculine and edgy style and it's really cool and I'd say flashier cuz it has to fit their music which tends to be louder and edgier. Dream feels like 127 Jr to me. They overlap more with 127's style. As a whole though NCT's best and most versatile dancer is TEN. If you watch his solo dance videos you will see what I mean.

WayV is my favourite unit from NCT 💚 although I really love NCT dream as well since the last ISTJ album released Broken Melodie’s did it for me. But I always love how melodic and vocally led WayV songs are, and they give me that nolstalgic boyband vibes with Neo influences sprinkled in, just a really nice balance in there. I also really love the song ‘Poppin Love’ in the On my Youth album as well, it’s an immediate bop when you hear it. Love love love💚💚💚💚💚💚

NCT as a whole embodies the NCT flavor in their music, each with their own distinctive style. However, they are distinguishably different in their dancing. WAYV is more like their name suggests: wavy, at the same time their dancing is so powerful, and mesmerizing. Meanwhile, NCT 127 exudes a lot more swag & coolness in their dancing. NCT originally has 4 main dancers which is Ten, taeyong, mark, jisung. & I really really like Ten obviously, & jisung. Their dancing is my type of style I like.

The main dancer of all NCT is in WayV (Ten Lee) so they're quite good too. But I personally think NCT Dream are quite good as a group.

I don't know, but my Exo-L mind ,already used to symbolism and metaphors, did a connection between the theme of this track and their former member, Lucas 🤔 By the way, I too prefer WayV to other units, they are more smooth and melodic than the others , just different 😊

​@@alongfortheridereacts just FYI, both 127 and WayV have versions of the song Regular so it would be interesting for you to watch both and also check their dance practices so you see the clear difference in style between the two units, with 127 being edgier and WayV being more "wavy". Also if you understand the distinctiveness of Ten and Taeyong, the centers of these groups, you will by extension, understand the difference between the styles of the subunits they represent. That's why you need to watch Taeyong's Shalala and Tap vs TEN's Nightwalker and Birthday mvs so you can see their different charms.😊
