They trick people in Norway too. You can buy a big glass of something for less than the price of a small glass version. In media they explained this. Not many buy small versions, so they have to charge more because of higher production cost...

As a grocery worker I’ve noticed that most customers notice shrinkflation. I’m not sure how well it’s going to continue to work for companies. Of course since all companies do this there is not much choice.

The bread in restaurants thing I my favorite part of some meals. I have never had a place serve bad bread, in fact it's usually really good stuff. There was one Cafe I used to go to that would give you free fresh made muffins with in store made butter as a starter with everything, might have cost them virtually nothing, but those muffins were the thing that kept me coming back as they were heavenly

Totally agree with the way ads perpetuate bad stereotypes. They do this because they want to quickly identify with their audience. What they don't realize is how much they either offend their audiences or, in the case of younger viewers, endorse those stereotypes. As for the negative effects of sugar substitutes, the bottom line is, don't eat processed foods anymore than necessary. Processed means anything mostly manufactured and/or ready-serve. What do you eat? A wide variety of FRESH fruit, FRESH (or plainly frozen) vegetables and un-processed fish and egg whites. Also, fat-free yoghurt is good. If that sounds like it's missing major food groups, all it is missing are fats and starches. Also, no alcohol, no soda and only tea with fat-free milk. By primarily limiting yourself to that diet you'll feel so much better inside of a week you'll see why I recommend it. Apart from special occasions, that's about all I eat.

If you'd probably end up buying a second shirt, or whatever the item is, at a later time anyway, then buying the 2-for-18 makes sense. I wouldn't mind the ads so much if they would bring back the warning that ads are coming up (particularly with the free movies because the audio on the movies is so much lower than normal videos so it gives me a heads up to turn the volume down when they pop up), if the ads wouldn't skip a portion of the video I was watching so I didn't have to rewind it after every ad break, and if the ads wouldn't randomly show up in a completely different language despite me having absolutely no interaction with said language

they recently made it so my add-blocker can no longer be used, now instead of 1 or 2 adds (not including the forced, unskippable adds before and after the videos) i get an add every 5 minutes, the fact that some of these adds are longer then the video itself is alarming... once had a whole movie as an add... and a concert... on my phone or tablet i get normal adds most the time like 2 30 second adds every so often... so we get in video adds and bombarded with youtube adds... all to try and make us grab a sub that we will probably forget we have while they raise the price without us knowing... ps use reloadable cards to avoid this, then you know exactly how much youre paying per month and if you know you arent gonna be using that service much that month just dont load the card untill youre ready to use the service again!!
