Excellent advice on insulin technique . May also review metformin and Sita in view of ckd. Fatty liver response better with pioglit. Final prescription I think dapa + low dose metfomin or pio.

In ckd eGFR is important parameter.In patient it’s 55 where we can easily use metformin and sitagliptin.Patient is obese- pioglitazone will aggravate further weight

Thanks for your valuable vedios to public. I am a male 56 yrs diabetic type 2 since 10 yrs. Maintaining hba1c below 6 since 10 yrs Witt diet Management. My problem is loosing weight unintentionally every year. First year of diabetes used metformin and lost 8 kgs from 55 to 45. Second year stopped metformin and used glimiperide 0.5mg once daily and regain weight 5 kgs. Third year again lost 3 kgs even on glimiperide. 4th 5th 6th year no weight loss. 7th year 8 th year 9th year lost 2 kgs per year. 10th year no weight loss. Present my weight is 43kgs height 162 cms. Medication is same glimiperide 0.5 MG since 9 years. My c peptide levels every year shows 0.9 ng/dl as 1.1ng/dl is normal range as per Thyrocare test reports , no other diseases as per medical checkups. Fasting always 110 to 125, pp always 160 to 185. please suggest the cause of my weight loss please Doctor Sir.

Good Evening Dr, I am suffering from diabetes since past 6 year and now I am on lantus insulin ,30 dose . My fasting blood sugar are below 100 but after every meal it's rise 100 unit and after dinner It goes upto 350 . In oral medication I have taken glyvomet gp 3/850 before breakfast and voglibose 0.3 with lunch , glyconet gp1 before dinner and tendia M after dinner . My HBA1C is 12. I visited medanta hospital Lucknow to consult with Dr Manish Gutch and they suggest me stop oral medication and goes on apidra insulin 3 times with lantus and sitaglyptin with metformin in morning and evening.please suggest me what is right way to correct my blood sugar . My diet chart and physical activity are perfect.

If sugars are rising by more than 100 from premeal readings then its diet that can be the issue.consult experienced dietitian.Do slow walk 30 minutes after food.This will help

CKD doesn’t always mean high BP.In stage G1 and G2 it can be normal.
