For those bashing Van Gaal: He means to say that it is ridiculous that the manager of a football club has to answer about the celebrations of his players,rather than commenting on how the team played. In other words,he doesn't give a shit about the damn celebration,he focuses on the football.

Great celebration. I just realised that when the media chat shit about Rooney he always responds with a goal. I remember when he swore at the camera after he scored a hattrick against West Ham in the 2010/11 and he was banned for some games. When he returned he responded with a goal against Chelsea in Cl. Fergie dropped him against Blackburn in 2011/12 and we lost 3-2 at home and the media said Rooney going to leave in the jan transfer. He responded scoring against City in the Fa Cup. Just keep saying shit about Rooney and he'll score goals.

I am not a great fan of the person Van Gaal but there is no denying his an absolutely great trainer and his comments about the Rooney celebration are spot on.

It looked as if Van Gaal was gonna unleash one on the reporter

he clearly played with all his heart in it today, possibly due to this, it fired him up! hence the performance and Spurs suffering as a consequence!

This is how the media like to twist things, he said the question is stupid not what actually happened, who cares that he got knocked out in his house, if these are the stories that are coming from newspapers nowadays then there's running out of ideas😒😒

I don't care about Man United and how they do on the park, but fair play to Rooney for making it lighthearted. What is puzzling is the worlds fascination with entertainers in the public eye. If I saw one of my own club players down the pub I wouldn't disturb him because his representation of my team will be short lived and therefore his relevance to me and my world ends when he walks off the pitch. He'll get a Heroes reception or a few choice words depending on results as he walks off, but that's where it ends.

I liked seeing the video because it's nice to know Rooney has a nice home life, full of banter and fun like that, but in all honesty, it must feel like an invasion to his privacy, and for something so completely lacking in scandal, it's really just unfair that he has to wake up and read the paper about it. Front page? For fuck sake. There comes a time when it's no longer news but simply perverse bug-eyed voyeurism and intensely frenzied scandal-making. I wish newspapers could be given a time-out, closed down for a couple days for not doing their job properly. This was news fit for a glossy magazine, not a newspaper.

Great, maybe you can learn something about beautiful game in those 90' (yes, football match is played over 90 minutes). But watch out when the offside rule comes. It's tricky. You'll need more time with that one.
