OG Steve speaks about his stay in ADX at Florence, Colorado and how it was an eye-opening experience in regard to race and geography. Steve says it didn't matter what you were from, if you were BLACK, you were brothers. He spent time on the same unit with Wayne Perry (Nkosi Shaka Zulu-EL), hear what they spoke about. Steve also spent time in the step-down unit of ADX with Kevin Gray, where they shared a cell for months. ADX is one of the most restrictive prisons in the United States. Steve speaks on how he navigated such a place.

I actually feel sorry for these guys because they caused a lot of pain out here. Kevin Gray was a killer with no remorse. I pray that he finds peace because he will never see his home again.

It’s not that all charges are federal, after Lorton was closed down we never had another prison to be built so considering we’re not a state and are a district the city made an agreement with the federal government that all dc prisoners that were sentenced to more than 1 year would be housed in the federal bureau of prisons
