Wayne treated me like a VIP a few years ago at the Bow Rack and I am nothing more than a very common man. He exudes class, wisdom, and humility.

The first time we walked into The Bow Rack in 2019 I was new to archery and Wayne helped me that day. I was given so much confidence and to this day( and they gave my kids a trad bow that they shoot today). I still hear Wayne’s gentle voice silently upon each stance position, hand position, the statue speech. I new Zero about hunting being an EAST coast and a Florida surfer. Well, I gave it my ALL to learning a small zone on the Oregon coast and harvested my first black tail fork deer on Thanksgiving 2022. I dropped to my knees in front of a huge hemlock that I caught a huge mature buck on camera ( knowing I could wait but thought, 1st come 1st serve) and Thanked God, the bow rack and my family for the confidence for the double lung shot. I feel the bow rack is like the MAFIA OF ARCHERY … I’m in debt for the knowledge and kindness.

Two hours and forty minutes? I'm looking forward to this... From each of Wayne's appearances in Lift, Run, Shoot and what I've now seen of his posts on IG, he strikes me as an incredible man. He's not a big celebrity, he's not changing the world through politics, but he IS making a positive impact on his community. It's great to finally watch him in a much longer format on the podcast, and I look forward to seeing more of him in upcoming episodes of LRS 🙏🏽🔥💪🏽🔨🔨 UPDATE: After finishing the episode, I can confidently say this was my favourite thus far. Wayne is truly salt of the earth, and I could have listened to these two speak for many hours more. Hopefully we'll get to see these two gentleman warriors on a hunt together soon, documented on video for the rest of us to appreciate. In the meantime, if I may be so bold as to suggest a future guest for the podcast and Lift, Run, Shoot... I'd love to see Zuby on the show. He's such a positive voice in the world and one of the few things that brings me back to Twitter on occasion (that platform seems to bring out the worst in humanity, but his posts are a very welcome exception). You would have so much to discuss, be it politics, fitness, faith, culture. And I think he would be another person Cam could convert to the hunting lifestyle. Until then, God bless you all, and thank you once again for all you do 🏹🙏🏽🔥💪🏽🔨🔨

Wayne is about as good of a human as they come. I went into The Bow Rack years ago to purchase my first bow thinking I’d be the next Cam Hanes. Turns out you actually have to practice to take down the big bulls, but maybe one day. I remember the shop was closing up, and Wayne let me stay late while he was closing up so I could use the range. I remember hearing rustling out back of the shop, and I alerted Wayne. I ran out to the back, fully expecting to yell and scream at the person rifling through his trash for bottles and cans. I was ready for the encounter and to give them a piece of my mind. How dare they sort the trash at The Bow Rack! Wayne simply asked them to not leave a mess, reached into his wallet and gave the person $20 and blessed them. I was blown away by his generosity and compassion in that moment, and hearing his testimony it’s easy to see why he reacted the way he did. We could all stand to be a little more like Wayne, the world is a better place because of him. Thank you for this episode, loved every minute of it!

I love Wayne man. So awesome to see a guy be open about his faith in Jesus. I’m 54 years old and just getting into bow hunting. My Dad did not hunt and I went the jock route then coached football for 30 years. Trying to learn a new passion in my 2nd lifetime. What an honor to be around a man like that.
