Great review, great explanations. Now I get how to sound like Danny Gatton - use a Puss set at 180 bpm! (Just joking y’all. Really.) Your analysis got me clear that playing around with time, tone & blend can get me closer to grabbing some sounds that feel alien-reachable. May be most instructive YT video I’ve watched.

My Way Huge Echo Puss BLEW AWAY a good sounding buckett brigade chip delay the Vox Deca Delay ! I set my delay to play everything just adding a full room filling sound with the feedback real low and adding a medium speed delay with the blend down so i get the abience without notes coming back to mess up my lead notes between chords ! I set it to play music not a effect , then i can play everything including glass slide standard tuned and chord progressions and lead notes without the delay being dominant at all ! I have a Vox Deca Delay with the buckett brigade chips and i loved that but the Way Huge Echo Puss blew it away with the very distinct higher notes that sound awesome where the Deca delay sounded mellow compared and lacked the nice higher notes you can get on the echo puss ! I set the echo puss to add fullness and ambiance and not for a effect that dominates ! In the tube amp FX loop the louder you play the less effect you can use so i set mine to add ambiance with the blend low to limit the feedback as that is set low also ! If you bought it for a unique chorus modulation it can do that well i think but those settings makes it limited in my opinion !

My God mate! Let the strings ring! All that picking doesnt give us any idea on delay time.
