WAX IS NOT DEAD 2! Hard Tin Wax Comparison! TurtleWax, FireBall, Artdeshine, Gyeon, Bilt Hamber!!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video, we continue the Wax Is Not Dead Series. A comparison of hard tin waxes on a test panel. Carnauba Wax - T1, a vegetable wax harvested from the leaves of the Brazilian palm tree, Copernicia cerifera. Carnauba wax is produced and sold in different grades, with T1 being the highest quality and purity available.
Graphene oxide (GO) is the oxidized form of graphene. It is a single-atomic-layered material that is formed by the oxidation of graphite which is cheap and readily available. Graphene oxide is easy to process since it is dispersible in water and other solvents. Due to the oxygen in its lattice graphene oxide is not conductive, but it can be reduced to graphene by chemical methods.
Silicon dioxide, also known as silica, is an oxide of silicon with the chemical formula SiO2, most commonly found in nature as quartz. In many parts of the world, silica is the major constituent of sand. Silica is one of the most complex and most abundant families of materials, existing as a compound of several minerals and as a synthetic product. Notable examples include fused quartz, fumed silica, silica gel, opal and aerogels. It is used in structural materials, microelectronics (as an electrical insulator), and as components in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Love these types of comparison's. I remember back in the mid-90's I was crazy enough to fall for the Hype and purchased A Zymol Boutique wax, it came in it's own pine box, certificate of Authenticity , and silk bag. It was recommended to be applied by Hand, to let your body heat soften the Carnauba My Black Pontiac Trans-Am looked amazing, But looking back what I paid for it..Umm, not really worth it. I actually still have most of it, still in it's Pine box, and sealed up, it's still good to go.

Gr8 topic and comparison Brian. Lots of interesting comments from you and comment section, especially as an "enthusiast." Personally, I really like carnuba/montan based wax on solid colors, red & black especially... Youll laugh but I REALLY like Simoniz Paste. Contrary to its difficulty mystique, I find it relatively easy to work, [following their directions] it has excellent gloss and the durability is surprising. Not bad for a 100 year old formula. Anyways, I enjoyed this video. Shine on you crazy diamond!

I am really enjoying the, Wax Is Dead?. I still love the look of a freshly waxed car. You can not get a better dripping wet look, and the jetting effect is top notch. This is my favorite content! There is nothing like applying a good old paste wax, especially if it's a high class one that comes with a great scent. They can keep their stinky ceramic coatings and boring sprayable sealants, those simply don't carry any emotion when working with them.

Vonixx Blend Ceramic & Carnauba Paste Wax would be an interesting one to add to the test if possible!! Think it’s pretty unique in having Ceramic added to old school carnauba from Brazil, wonder if it makes it last longer? Last time i used a wax, about 6 months ago on a customers car. It blew me away how wet and jetted it made the paint look. Its easy to forget how good a freshly waxed car looks when you are blinded by the durability of ceramics and polymer sprays. Does anybody remember Clearkote products? Their Carnauba Moose Wax left a really great finish especially on solid reds and blacks. Likewise Victoria Concours wax was another great wax. Both companies now seem to be long gone. The best looking paste waxes ive ever used though are from Swissvax. They are crazy prices and strange texture in the pot but they really do stand out for me in the looks department.

IMO a really good wax looks nicer than a coating (pinnacle souveran anyone?). Deepens the color more, and gives a deeper wetter appearance compared to the candy coated glossy appearance of a coating. Dont get me wrong I have adams advanced (not the spray) on my durango srt that sit's outside 24/7 the last 2 years and still holding up GREAT and I just polished out my old camaro to perfection and coated with MOHS Evo (Flipping amazing to apply and remove btw) and topped with can coat evo. Did this about 3 weeks ago. Has yet to see water so should be very nicely cured by now lol. I have considered topping a section with pinnacle souveran to see what happens. Will it even stick to the surface? Will the wax clog the coating? Not really sure lol. I would have loved to see P21s and or S100 (same thing big difference in price) compared against these. I love love those two wax's. Wipe on and wipe off. DO NOT LET DRY it is a WOWO wax. I've seen many youtube reviewers apply it completely wrong over the years.

Also i still use megs gold class at least one time a year...its still doing it for me over all of the million spray waxes i have. Seal and shine is the winter protection but i still use the "waxes" during the summer months. Cant beat the shine and depth they bring to the paint.

I stay away from some of the modern paste waxes because they are fluorinated. Yes, it gives terrific performance as you can see with Soft 99, Gyeon, etc., but they are questionable in terms of health and environmental impact if using often. If I’m going to use a wax I use something plain wax like P21S 100%, Pinnacle Souveran, etc. I wish the manufacturers were completely forthcoming as to what are in their waxes. For example, do any of the Fireball waxes contain per-fluoro compounds?
