    Sounds like a better Gullfoss tbh, but Idrk about soothe, as others already said. Seems promising, although I'd like to have this but with an approach more alike the Sonible smart stuff of even the Izotope Neutron stuff.

    Yeah! I would go as far as to allow it to train your own targets much like the Izotope stuff. In the end you can always agree or disagree with the result to various degrees, and with this controls that judgment call would be as deep as it can get.

    I think there are some similarities. They both attempt to automatically balance a signal, but soothe operates more in the spectral domain, with some very complex background operations; but they both dynamically respond to the signal. Definitely some differences. An interesting comparison for sure. Thanks for watching.

    @@palebluedotstudios I've noticed across several videos showcasing different plugins and tips and such that it has gotten worse. KZread seems to be normalizing and compressing in a way that is not conducive to music creators. Simultaneously reducing payouts and increasing KZread premium subscription costs. I don't know why or for what purpose, but 🤔 it seems to be a detriment for the time being. It's unclear if odysee, bitchute, rumble, etc are viable alternatives, but at the very least it seems prudent to mirror all content there. The ever increasing bit reduction of streaming media is crushing.

    This thumbnail title is stupid. Soothe's goal 8s to suppress resonant frequencies, Equalizers goals is to balance the power of the frequency spectrum. Don't review tools you do not understand.

  • @palebluedotstudios

    @palebluedotstudios

    11 ай бұрын

    Thanks for your comments, very valid points. I would counter with the notion that all of these plugins are attempting to attenuate frequencies to a desired goal, and both plugins allow you to emphasize and de-emphasize frequencies, with an eye to achieving a balanced signal. If you give both these plugins resonant signals, they'll both act on it, but with perhaps different methods and philosophies. Thanks for watching!
