Fantastic formation. The color of the rock below the wall is dark. Is that due to rust from the reinforcement of the wall or is it just that algae is growing because of difference in the conditions?

Above the wall it is plain in colour so I think the wall has influenced the colour. Shame in a way but it does look better :)
