    Oh nice lecture!! Really good stuff! I kinda knew the basics.....but some really well explained points about the rotor areas atop the associated CU cloud formations.....Well Done!!

    I wish i could teach as well as this, Very good lecture G manages to get the message over as if your sat in the glider, I got my diamond at Portmoak on what must of been an easy day in 2003 , `Have not achieved much in wave since, I now understand a lot more about what's actually going on ,specially the bit about the rotor. Thankyou Richard Chaman

    Somehow this never gets old. I like to revisit this from time to time to refresh my understanding of wave systems and check my experiences against the theory.

    Hang on. The thesis here is because when air rises it cools (fair enough, we know it does) it will then be *colder* than the air already at that height (whatever that height is). Why should it be? The other air is at the same height. Is one mass of air wetter or drier than the other?
