Hell yeah dude! You could run the antenna through the snorkel or even get a small antenna from a 1/10 scale kit and just put it though the rod!

Maybe when it's full submerged the water is acting as a conductor and overpowering any inputs from above. Maybe add a scale snorkel and run a bigger antenna wire to see if it works.

Nice! I was not a big fan of the 24s …but 20$ part here, and on and on, now there’s 3 in the stable. I find I just sit on the couch tinkering around…they have there place in the space. trail anywhere…awesome setups.. subd👍🏼

@@soflorclife6970 lol, the water will take a toll regardless of conformal coating, it gets in everything and begins the process of erosion, but sure is fun! Lol! 💯👍

Mine is the stock motor just sprayed it if your going to drive in water don't be shy with the wd or the product your using and get the antenna up and out of under the body

Very nice course! Will be nice to have waterfall to climb up with the SCX 24s. I crawl in my neighborhoud in a rocky brook and the stock motor survive 10 extreme rides i change to the barrage motor this survive only one ride. After fifty rides the servo even broke down.Now i wait for new parts.

Fantastic course bro and awesome water test , weird about the servo in and out the water 🤭🤔 I used bathroom sealer to waterproof mine bro. Aquarium sealer would be even better 😁 try and get a longer antenna 👍thats how I get my rocks lol 🤭 fantastic Video bro 👌

Thanks man!! Just watch couple vids if you haven’t done it yet, this was my first attempt haha. The magnets I use are called earth magnets, you can get a variety of small sizes on Amazon, jus make sure they are earth magnets (super strong) 💪🏼🤩👍🏼

What about all the cartridge bearings that aren’t sealed? What about the differential gears and the transmission and the motor. People don’t seem to realize when you dunk these you are permitting water to penetrate everywhere. Before you guys know it you’re going to have seized up axles, differentials, transmissions, and motors.

Thing about that is 2s battery’s shouldn’t go underwater , I had one in water for .5s and over time battery got puffy & I poked a tiny hole in it outside and it went off.. waterproof just in case water gets in from rain but otherwise shouldn’t drive in water if it’s above axles. Want some water fun? (Get a boat)

I’m still rocking the same 2s battery with no issues…. And I do have a boat 🤷‍♂️ but for some reason I have more fun driving the Scx24 rigs in water.
