Wornout Wrench I have to admit, heights are not my thing! But at least now I can plan better to do this circuit, def going up, not down!

I think im with you there, that last CLIFF is out of my comfort zone. I prefer to be in the forests for sure I will leave the crazy stuff for the more experienced people.

@@backpackboat1 I have looked from the lakes side it looks quite steep and does show it as a trail although a dotted line so there has to be a way up that. like you say though its way easier going up something like that than down.

I would not venture down that. No thanks lol

Agreed! I’m glad I managed to get out to the lakes after this to see the pass from the bottom. Going up certainly looks a lot better. Scrambly for sure, but better. That, and having the Picklejar connector trial scouted means a three day trip of the Highwood Circuit is now at the top of the list for next year.
