I think sometimes we feel discouraged or scared with the first layers of color not looking great, but then as we go, it turns out alright. And the thing we have to get better at is being patient... I'm having that problem a lot lately. I'm also going through a traditional art spree lol >_

Yeah! Watercolour especially, you really have to trust the process and not give up halfway through!

faber castell polychromos are sooooo good 😍 perfect for details! I recommend getting the derwent superpoint sharpener too, it makes those pencils go to a crazy sharp point

I actually prefer turner to Holbein !! I find it has a more even spread and stroke and is just so nice to work with, Holbein gets gummy and scratchy for me and others I’ve seen use it,but use both,

I do the SAME thing with watercolors. Don’t feel bad about bringing into the digital world to finish it up, every medium has its positive aspects.

You are one of the artists who inspired me to try this in my own work, and it’s now a favourite combo of mine. :-) I think I also spotted you using a Lightfast ‘foliage’ pencil, that is one of my favourite pencils 💚

I have a lot of random coloured pencils from when I used to get monthly art supply boxes so there's a few random pencils in my collection!

I always have a plan for a watercolor painting, then when I start it's so overwhelming. I always start with light colors and think to myself "this is never going to look how I imagined it," so I do a few more layers and use colored pencils to finish it

I wish I could do more recording and more edit for videos but I can't right now but I'd love show u my sculpture I've been working on maybe give u an idea maybe. ❤
