Awesome work. Just when I think you've done it and looks perfect - you add a other stroke which makes it even better. I love the bits where you stop and have a think of what to do next. Thank you.

Thank you. Real-time helps alot. It would be nice to hear you talk about what you are doing. I did not see you wet your paper. Nor was there a delay while your washes dried?
Wow, amazing .....the eyes are sublime , like glass .....I couldn’t tell if you were working wet in wet on the skin tones Christine?

Thank you, Paul! Paper was dry at the beginning, but through adding paint, I worked on some parts in wet on wet.
Almost like the old masters !

So nice, Christine, what would you say is the biggest contributor to your artistic ability? Natural talent? Practice, taking classes just having an eye for it or? Thanks again for sharing with us.

Thank you, Candy Kelly! Good question, never thought about it yet! - I really think practice is the key. Natural talent just made it easier for me I guess, awoking my interest in drawing from the beginning. Taking classes - yes, I went to art school and it helped with basics, but in my opinion art lessons are overrated and only theory - you can learn all you want, painting is craft and skill, practising the hand to bring it to the paper is the most important part to get good. Having an eye for it comes with experience.I am still learning with every new piece I do - and I love it :) But there is also something else, at least in my life, people who support me. I wouldn't be here where I am today without my family
Artist choice not to show the hair as blond, and to not show the hint of hair on the (painter's) left side of the face?
