The hybrid between the shape of the pans shaped like wells, with the adjustability of pans is really neat. And the fact that you can adjust your "wells" and get double size ones. It's not for me - it's far too large and bulky, I prefer significantly smaller and thinner ones - but I love new palette designs and am always happy to see them! If they made a mini version (cut the thickness by only having pan-wells on one side, and have the lid just be flat, and like half the width) I'd be all over it. But for now, yeah, definitely not suited to my needs. I can definitely see it working out well for you though, considering how much you love your pan-and-well palette!

Thanks for sharing this with us! The palette is a good idea and I dont understand why its not morw commonalso, why do manufacturers *have* to put pans/sections on the lid? Maybe good for some people but I just see it as a headache. Of course id love to see the swatch. Have a great day

This pallette is awesome, I like the larger pans for setting up a split primary (warm and cool) I can't wait to be able to buy it. Maybe if everyone tells Jackson's art to carry it or else! Let's unite!!!! ❤❤ Heather

love the new palette! how fun! Now can we tell them to have a version where they just put all the pans on one side for the gooey honey brands of watercolor! *(then the top would have a massive mixing area!). I checked out Peters Art but there's one warning that they don't ship Holbein to the US so I will wait for the palette to come here! Can't wait to see a video where you fill that palette with your favorites. Thanks for sharing! That Yuko Higuchi set is so cute; hoped they had created a new color or two for her!

You were the first person I thought of when I saw the collab with Yuko Higuchi; I’m happy to hear that you have procured one of the sets and the new Holbein palette. If the collab makes it to the US (or somewhere willing to ship here), I would love a set and the smaller version of the palette.

Please swatch these colors!! I don’t like the feel of plastic palettes, but these one is kind of genius. I like the removable pans and the option of pan sizes. Hopefully, Holbein makes the watercolor set available to the US soon. Thanks for sharing this with all of us!😘

I have one of the Robax palettes…..they are nice in that they use regular size whole and half pans….however they are way to cumbersome for me. This looks like a good alternate.

Leave it to you to find the "NEWEST" and the "BEST" ...Irit...Thanks so much...I hope they will ship to Canada...reasonably...love the concept...very proprietary though...like you would need to have your paints in THEIR...pans...so...lots of Holbein pan buying...I would love to see how you like the surface for mixing...and if ...with a magic eraser...you could make it bead free...It could be nice to have both the large and small ...then you could just have a full assortment...and storage...guess it depends on what they are asking for these little gems!!!! I would love to see you swatch your special little paint set from Holbein....when you get a chance....Janis

I like the shape of the wells, but plastic stains so over time I'd like to see how you like it. I use porcelain dishes. I don't like the standard metal pallets.

Porcelain is definitely the nicest!

I’ve only tried the regular artist oils. They’re wonderful. I have some tubes that are quite old and the paint is still good. It’s a big investment though.

You may have to sell this one from your shop as you did the other. Searched a bunch of the US shops and am not seeing it. Or maybe it isn't here yet? The paint collab looks beautiful.

I have exactly one of the oil pastels- I bought it because it was the only truly vivid pink I could find in any brand at the time- it was certainly more vivid than Sennelier pinks, and if I’m not mistaken, Caran D’ache as well. That May no longer be the case of course 😉. I love it’s texture, the nice plastic holder, and the pigmentation. I do not use oil pastels in the traditional sense, more as you do in mixed-media. I hope you find them a pleasure to use! Also…. A short video on your favorite ✨pink ✨ oil pastels/wax pastels wouldn’t hurt- I need more due to, y’know, florals- and it might be just that I’m lazy with color theory, but I’ve gotten picky about pinks 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

@@iritlandgraf ok I went back to my order (Amazon. Now. Whyyyyyyyyy can my even vaguely local Blick store not Stock Every Brand in Every Shade Open Stock, In Every Medium…. Ok fine I know the answer but 😡) Anyway it is the delightful Rose Pink 1. I adore the quality of their products but ugh Just a few more pinks!. By the way, Van High’s oil pastels are not bad at alll- somewhere between neocolor 1 & Sennelier in softness. I only have 1- a really bright and light sky blue. Like you, I appreciate their value/price/quality.

Haven't even watched video yet but I JUST DISCOVERED THIS PALETTE 2 days ago (the moveable pans one) and have been trying to order one from etsy! But it keeps giving me an error. I instantly thought "it looks like Irit's palette!"

I will but i wouldn't have bought the set if it wasn't a collaboration. I have many of the colors or similar. To me it's mostly a collector's set
