This is so fun and quick a person can do a couple in a setting. I ended up with little red splatters on my whole painting and that worked well too instead of the intentional red dots. 🍉 My second one ended up better in the rind area. Yes, I learn with every painting.
Love your tip about getting better with painting as you do more painting... Also just a side note... i am an all time watermelon lover... especially now more than ever. Thank you for sharing this lovely watermelon tutorial 🍉🍉🍉

To hear you say you have only been painting four years is inspiring. I grew up in Hope Arkansas and in August we have the Hope Watermelon Festival so this painting brought back lots of childhood memories. I live in Texas now and I was wondering if you have a tutorial for Blue Bonnets? Beautiful work as always!

Hi! Yes, I think it helps me teach because I believe you can learn art skills one at a time and they stack up! I don't have any blue bonnets yet but I'm adding it to the list. Great idea.
Stunning . I have the same paint palette but with the added metallics . Im Finding it super helpful that I can follow along with colours then experiment doing a second one in different colours , maybe .
