Why so much tape for a border if there is no background? Some tape on the corners wohldve been good to hold the paper down...

It’s just the way I prefer to paint. Sometimes when doing wet in wet washes in the middle of the paper causes it to buckle in the middle. Taping the edges down completely keeps it taught and prevents any buckling or rippling. Thanks for watching!
