This is stunning!
Beautiful. The colours and textures you achieve on the trees worked in perfect harmony with the icy blues of the background. I’m definitely going to try this for myself. I also loved all the tips and tricks you shared in order to get a snowy and icy effect in your painting. Looks like I will have to get another toothbrush lol. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. It’s so helpful and inspiring. 😊❤️
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing in so much detail.
Thank you so much for this tutorial of your beautiful painting! As soon as I saw it I knew I had to try. I like how it turned out thanks to your instruction!
Wow , Vraiment très impressionnant! C'est le plus beau tuto que j'ai jamais vu !
Simply splendid, Lynns. Have you painted a dreary foggy Smoky Mountains scene (a la Gatlinburg Tennessee's "Jim Gray")? I bet you could produce a fantastic tutorial of the cold desolation I grew up in that made Jim Gray famous? Thank you for sharing your skill and talent! You are awesome.
Wow! I have no words! Amazing
I love this! Also love the way you filmed) edited it with the directions. And what a gorgeous studio you have. Love the view😊
Thank you for this video, many great techniques, painting is so beautiful!
I have arches sheets this size that I just have no ideas for. Now I will have to give this a shot. This is beyond breath taking work!
Tried doing it last night, and got a terrific result for my first ever watercolour painting. Thank you so much.😊❤

WOW!!!
Great! You did a lovely job on the tree bark! Next time you do a snow scene put some kosher salt on the damp (not shiny) paint and let it dry, makes lovely shapes, works on rock textures too
Amazing! I have learned a lot how to create nice textures. Thanks!

Loved this. Have you considered doing a full tutorial? Do you let the sky dry before adding the background trees?
Wow
this was nice to watch, but I wish you would've done more of a "tutorial", to TEACH us some of these techniques.

Thanks so much! I use masking tape to outline the trees.
To jest piękne❤
You are so very great! Your painting is just awesome! I am only 1 year into my watercolor journey but it would probably take 100 years for me to be able to paint as well as you! Thank you so much for sharing!! Just one question (for now) what is the weight of the paper that you used? It didn’t look like it buckled. Thank you so much!💕

Thanks! Well sure you can, I’ve only painted for 4 years so you can do it too. I use 640 gram paper so you don’t need to tape it. That’s excellent since I’m so lazy and hate too much preparations.
Fantastic! What an inspiration you are! I will be, very enthusiastically, following you! Just wish the video didn't run so fast! Posting the colors used and directions helps, though!

Please, may I know what sort of tape you use to mask the big tree?
Super🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

what are you using for a resist for the trees?

@cstovinrealtor it looks like Artist masking tape, hope this helps
Amazing skills... well-painted. would like some slower parts, explanatory voice over and more variable music.
Hello. I see that you put masking tape down to leave you a blank for the birch tree but the tape had ‘rough’ edges, how did you manage that its not in the tutorial? Cheers
@lynnswatercolorartlynnsakv6852

I’ve used masking fluid at the edges of the tape.

@@lynnswatercolorartlynnsakv6852 ah i see...but then youve painted on top of the fluid? Will investigate how it works, thank you
I wish there was a sketch for different sizes. .I'm not great at that part. lol
Very nice work. A little more shading on the far bank of the stream would have better seated the water.
I just love everything you’ve done. I do hope you post more and more videos. However, I’m not fond of the music. Can you make that a little bit more appropriate for your paintings? You deserve to have beautiful music to go with your beautiful paintings. The music was so monotonous and overwhelming. Nothing like your beautiful painting ❤️

Music appreciation is subjective. I on the other hand, found it hypnotic and relaxing, just perfect for this tutorial. Maybe what this tutorial needs is to not have comments like yours under it. You know, the mute button is a great tool for when you don't appreciate sound coming from a device. Maybe you should try it.

What’s great about KZread is that we are allowed to give our subjective opinions. But it isn’t kind or productive to put down people for doing so.
