fantastic use of hot and cold to create the suttle feeling of shadow without ever really touching black directly.its so loose and enjoyable to watch this painting come to life.

As a portrait painter in Pastel and Oils but not watercolour, this video was truly inspiring. I will now try again with watercolour! Excellent!

I really appreciate not having seen the model. I would have been distracted from the creation of this painting.

how does the paper stay wet that long? I just dont understand, for me it's a matter of minutes and then the paper is o dry you get those awful hard edges everywhere

+Jan La I do not wet the paper . almost all of my work is done on dry surface good luck
