Watercolor Bird // Painting with 3 primary colors 🦆

I paint a goose in watercolor using 3 primary colors. Don’t go out and buy a heap of different colors. A few primary colors will get you started. #louisedemasi #watercolor

Best advise for sure:Three colors! After all they are the primaries all others come from!

Love you're "bloopers" in the end; they make it more clear that these tutorials are not "that" easy to post. Let alone the great work!

Yes. you are so right. You don't need many colors. I just started YouToub not long ago. I am so glad I found a good channel like yours. Thank you for sharing.

Too late, already have that drawer full of paints lol. You gave the BEST advice about purchasing warm/cool primary colors and learning how to mix those to create ALL the other colors! I have found that, with my drawer full of paints, it's only served to complicate this process. So, yeah...spend the money on the best paper and brushes you can afford and buy the paints you'd rather not mix at a later date. Thanks, Louise, for another fantastic video!

Oh my Louise, you are so cute and funny at the end of your tutorials, you make me laugh so hard. Having said that, I love the goose you painted with only 3 colours. You are an amazing artist and, you give so much information n your techniques. I just love how you paint. Thanks you, Helene

Thank you. I had an epiphany watching this video. I have been painting for 1 year. I was drawn to watercolor specifically because often watercolor paintings have that “mottled” appearance we see in this goose’s belly, the shadow. Today it hit me...you didn’t paint a bunch of colors to get that look, it is granulating paints separating out. THANK YOU!!!
