Funny as a reefer you can notice the most microscopic imperfections that others probably wouldn't notice. My issue is usually in attempting to fix them I make an even bigger problem 😱 glad you finally have some time to do an update, I'm finding as I mature more into this hobby that as time consuming multiple tanks can be, I like being able to create multiple setups, making one tank more of an LPS tank, another a mix reef. Ideally having just 1 would make things a lot easier, but this is coming from someone with multiple tank syndrome. Hopefully as time goes on I can go from 3 nanos, to possibly 2 so that my focus isn't always split.

no3/po4 were pretty high as i didnt have a refugium or any export aside from skimmer for the first to months along with alot of fish. this is mainly because i didnt want to change the plumbing twice while having to adapt it.. a few weeks back when i realized the crazy nutrients i decided to throw a ton of export at it to get things back in check until i finish off the sump

Just dose a bunch of macrobacter 7, for that cyano, maybe a whole bottle over a week or two, that should do it!! Screw those other chemicals!

They will help remove chunks of waste /food before it breaks down. so it will help reduce the amount of nutrients in the system.

i used kz cyanoclean but it keep them in check. don't allow them to cover life rock. only cover sand and keep them skinny. but it doesn't remove them. kz treatment is only for 2 weeks but it require other 2 products you need to purchase it and this is not good because only one product should take care of cyano, why we would buy 3 products for this issue? good luck

Ah dang! I only got the one... I have never used it and figured its worth a try! I like to experiment alot so i can better speak on different situations and options.. good old chemiclean will be the backup plan if it doesnt rid it after a month or so.

Well i work in healthcare and there is a global pandemic going on resulting in a extreme lack of free time for me.. The Tank is fine other than some high nutrients for a while.. thus is life.. things are getting back under control. I don't sugar coat it on my channel.. im always honest and tell it how it is!
