Hi Aliex i enjoy all the reviews you do about kayaks . I want one, but i have never been on one! I am terrified of the thought of flipping one where i fish in a big lake. I have a bass hunter 2 men boat that is powered by a 45 lb trolling motor I feel very safe with it. it stays afloat even when it gets feel with water. Is a hustle getting it all together...So i would love to have a stable easy carry kayak in the back of my truck. I just dont know which one i want.I enjoy fishing when i get off work. 4 жыл бұрын

@@bobseaver7807 I have had a manta ray pedal drive and its definitely a nice yak good for everything from rivers to offshore and its a super quiet kayak the two biggest downsides for me. 1. Even when packing really light their is no room for anything at all especially when you have the drive stored into the up position. 2.the rudder and rudder controls now mine may have been a defect but the rudder cables kept falling off and most people upgarde to a aftermarket system to replace the stock rudder cables anyways and the stock rudder that comes with the boat is to small so you may want to upgrade to a boondox rudder and it helps so much it will turn on a dime with the boondox upgrade.Last thing I will say is traded mine back for a jackson crusie fd and I love the manta ray but this jackson kayak is really amazing , its just my opinion but it could be worth it to look up the jackson kayak cruise fd if you like the manta ray but it also depends and what waters you're yaking in to find the right kayak to fit.Good luck

@@aos7194 if your concerned with scaring the fish. You could use the drive to get to the area you want to fish, then paddle quietly. I like a stealthy approach myself. I'm probably going with the 12 foot riot mako. But I don't think any of the drives are noisy enough to spook fish unless your right on top of them. Could pedal easy once in your fishing area too

Hold the phone! I was wrong. I bought this Big Fish because my Native rudder system was SO bad on both of my Natives. The Big Fish lasted a few trips and the eightball steering self destructed, cable broke inside the handle just like the Natives did. Garbage made to sell, not last. So sick of this from modern manufacturing.

@@AliexFolgueira No rocks. Didn't hit anything. I live on a lake. One minute it was turning fine, then kind of a grinding feeling and SNAP! Not fun having to use a paddle to try to steer in a heavy crosswind. Thought I could just lift the rudder out of the water but then it acted like a sail in the wind and kept spinning me so I had to drop it back down. Do you know of a video that shows how to fix this? Been bad weather here right now but looked like the plastic piece didn't want to come apart.
