I’m always blown away by your landscapes! The suggestion of detail is so subtle but amazing. Looking forward to more tips on “how to lose yourself” in your painting, quieting the mind can be a difficult task especially when it thinks it knows what to draw but it’s not what I see lol!

Another amazing painting David. I love to watch your videos. Listening to your voice always soothes me so much. I recently bought some Carbothello pastel pencils based on what I have seen in your videos. I have done one practice piece of a cat just using mostly the primary colours and it turned out Ok. Ready to begin another one and hopefully improve. Thank you so much for all your effort.

Carbothello's are awesome pencils... just be aware that some blues, reds and purples are terrible lightfastness... that's why I buy those colours from Conti a Paris to replace them. You don't want you hard work fading . 🙏🙏

Thank you! 😊 I used to love working on Sennelier La Carte Pastel Card but if this board gets any moisture on it destroys and lifts off the surface, that is the only reason I stopped using it, it is professional quality so why they haven't sorted this issue out is beyond me. Any other sanded board is worth a go with. 🙏
