Great demo as my bivvy needs doing, one question i would like to ask does this fabsil also guard against mildew/ mould ect. ?

  • @camocarpycuttzy

Yes to a degree the best thing to kill mold and mildew is actually natural sunlight once its dry it should be able to be brushed of gently, if you've got dark spots there a swine to get out and even the best cleaners out there will struggle because it's soaked in to the fibers, the biggest cause normaly is via packing away wet and not drying out 2 days later after the pack down what I do is get home pop it up in the garden and leave it there till its bone dry, you shunt have to fabsil alot but all depends how much you get out, hope this helps mate

@@camocarpycuttzy Cheers, its just that the cupboards that i have to keep it in seams to make it go mouldy some times? Also can you use this fabsil on the jacket & trousers that look like trees.

sounds like a airflow problem and yes mate any type of fabric can be done to be fair the best type is cotton same as the old tents the reason why they pulled cotton tents and went to a nylon fabric is one cost and second weight everyone want the lighter gear but with cotton it soaks right in but it will use more so id say apply 3 coats with a sprayer or twice with brush on cottons

Would rather paint brush it on. spraying would be very wasteful

@camocarpycuttzy it's fine there's loads of sprayers of paint that are electric just wanted to make sure it doesn't block it up or its not too thin to actually be sprayed out of it.
