Thank you so much for this video! it is so important that people know the difference between a true priestess path and one for social media and business.

I've been looking into priestesshood a lot lately, and I agree with you about the strangeness of just being able to wake up and call ourselves a very specific/important term this way. I've been quite annoyed by what I can/can't find about priestess training (especially in my area) and about how many of the trainings seem to be - as you said - more like a brand. It feels icky to see wealthy white women perpetuating patriarcal capitalistic standards, meanwhile discussing how to bring women together in a ''new era''. On one side, I already feel in my core that I want to be of service and in which ways, but on the other side I am clueless as where to find the right training that would fit my beliefs because so many of them (that I managed to find) sound shallow or like a cashgrab, and it's not what I want to bring into this world.

Yes there are some nasty pieces of work out there. I had one entity try and influence my work at the spring, it lied and contradicted itself. Its now moved on.

Thank you for that video. I have your water witchcraft book and feel more and more drawn to become a priestress of water (signed up for your newsletter right away). Thank you also for mentioning that Not all spirits are benevolent. I made my own experiences with this in my youth. I often discuss it with a friend - she has another point of view than I have - which is fine for me. But sometimes I got confused about it, because she and many others say, that if “negative” spirits come - that these are shadow parts of our selves or parts were we should learn something and that we should not send them away, but integrate it. A lot of people in the spiritual world right now are saying, that times are changing and that there are no negative spirits anymore or that of your don’t believe in that there is negative energy, you don’t need protection from it... so sometimes it gets really confusing. I am very intuitive and can sense energy and not everything is always good for us. Sure it is important to take a look then why it comes and resonates with us - which topic needs to be looked at in that context. Thank you for all your work and for so much free content. 💙

Whoa! That sounds like propaganda straight from evils mouth. I suppose that is one way to attach and destroy a person. Why protect if they dont exist? There is so much bane running through the spiritual community. It is so irresponsible to promote that type of mentality. There have always been beings of good, of malevolence and everything in between. The spiritual community is arrogant, not strong. They didnt wake up last month and eradicate all evil. To me, this sounds like pure possession of an evil spirit. "Look at how beautiful i am, there is no evil, come this way... we have wheat grass shakes. Drink one, and the evil will leave you forever" meanwhile evil moves in. ALWAYS BEWARE OF NEW AGERS BEARING TRITE SAYINGS ABOUT LOVE AND LIGHT. Always ALWAYS protect yourself. Witches immediately dive into shadow work so we can become intimate partners with our shadow. So when evil does show up, you know exactly who and what it is. You are on the right track! Dont let that "no evil crap" fool you. Stick to your gut! You know what's right and what feels icky. That is a great magical tool to have. Remember the greatest trick evil ever played was convincing the world it didnt exsist....

Thank you for this video. I had a dream some time ago and i recieve the message that i am a water guardian and healer. I didn´t know what it means, and an still don´t know. I know that I have a strong bound with water element an also I have mercury, the sun, jupiter, venus and my ascendent in water signs, so, when I saw your channel I thought this was a sign from the Goddess (I am working with Afrodite at this moment) . It is not cultural appropriation to call yourself a water priestess if you haven't taken priestess training courses. There is no "water religion" or "water culture". "Water priestess" may have become a deeply personal identity for some people, but offering courses doesn't give them any authority (religious or otherwise) to gatekeep it. There is no "Papess of Water" who speaks for water as a divine entity. "Sea Priestess" is a novel of magical fiction, not a governing religious text. Devotion to land and local spirits is a personal choice, not a religious one that can be regulated by a group of women running workshops. It is not up to you or them to decide if someone else is qualified to be a "water priestess", and it is not cultural appropriation if their expression of devotion wasn't cultivated in a priestess training program. Service to the land predates spiritual and "shadow-working" workshops, as well as the modern phenomena of women structuring their spirituality around an Avalonian mythos.
