I keep wondering why is water injected at the inlet? Wouldn't water vapor decrease overall oxygen concentration in the air entering combustion chamber? Why not imject eater right at the end of combustion to increase amount of working fluid flying back and decreasing heat load on the turbine blades? Or why not inject it after the turbine blades but before the nozzle?

I have a question for you: what if you injected water in a jet engines used for pushing a boat? Can you use the added mass from water compensate for the low speed, hence obtain useful thrust? And there will be unlimited amount of water for disposal

Yes it may be add and thrust may increases too but used water must be demineralize(distilled) water(not sea water or lake water) Also must gave low amount. Sea or lake water may causes corrosion and calcification.

@@aircrafttechnicians5426 furthermore, imagine catching a pebble, a fish, a duck, some weeds, or lilypads in your jet intake. I imagine it could cause serious problems

Okay this might be a dumb question, but I was wondering if jet engines create more thrust in extremely humid vs dry environments. It makes sense to me, but maybe I've misunderstood

in fact very good question, in all jet engines performance increase cold wheather because of more density air. but hot air includes more less molecules(oxigen, nitrogen, etc) than cold air so we can't take more air pressure than engines compressor. as a result of, thrust decreases. Humidity take advantage for the engines thrust. Therefore in the past water injection was used to increase combustion pressure(with vapour affect) and engine thrust. But in modern engines fadec system overcome this negative situation, when fadec taken negative hot wheather conditions data, send more fuel the engine combustion system thus increase thrust. Thanks for question...
