You saved me today man I can’t thank you enough! There’s a lot of videos on KZread related to this but none actually show the extra step you did 💯🔥

Definitely injector cups, thats coolant not water coming out of there, truck will run all day throwing deisel into your coolant and when motor cools it'll flow the other way, coolant into diesel. So you can get by temporarily by draining fuel filters in the morning but you will damage the coolant system eventually with all that deisel.

Thanks sir, I just run into this problem, I didn't know what was going on, I just drained the fuel filter and the truck didn't shut down again. But am saving this video just incase for the other steps. Thanks again

Glad it helped! If you repeat that when it does it again, it'll help get you to a qualified shop to diagnose the problem. Mine were the injectors cup.

Same ahit happened to me. Truck would let me drive a few miles and shut down. Nobody could fix it in bmore at that bullshit TA. Drove it all the way back to Cleveland, Ohio took 16 hrs. I'm gonna drain my shit in a few minutes. I appreciate it, be safe and have a good one OG

This is my follow up comment!! I eventually replaced the fuel injector cups. The seals were bad allowing fuel to get into the water. However, until you replace the cups, repeat the process!! Thanks and God bless!!

I'm clad you were able to get moving. I did get my injector cups replaced with seals of course.. So, I suggest you keep and eye on it and once you see fuel in the water reservoir you really need to get to your regular mechanic. God bless driver..

A warm hello to you, I am not a mechanic I just play one on TV, I like to start by saying thank you for Sharing, It is said that a little bit of knowledge goes along way, but we got to know why happens what happens, It is important to know or take into consideration the miles That that truck has The maintenance, and the work that has been done to the engine if any, and then from there we can check and double check and maybe triple check By performing a diagnostic and troubleshooting the problem, and I pretty much have to agree with the two previous gentlemen to look into the injector cups, and I say 👀👀 into the injector Oil rings as well, ✌️❤️

You have red stuff in your filter and that is antifreeze. By draining the coolant fron your fuel system your are not really fixing the problem what you really have is the injector cups. Should get them fix before its too late.

I had do the exact same thing... I was just glad that I could make it home and have the work done.

Doesn't water float on diesel, so if so siphon out or suck out water floating on top of diesel in fuel tank. Have you ever removed water out of your brake air tanks, I'll bet you haven't?

It is only if it is keep coming back. You have bad injector cups. And you may see fuel in your coolant or coolant in your fuel.

@@juancepeda9620 This depends on several factors but my advice is if one has already been damaged, I recommend doing them all at once.

Everyone saying injector cups, if it would be injector cups it would’ve been the other way around, fuel in radiator, coolant is 1:10 ratio in PSI compared to fuel, could be fuel heater or something else, not injector cups.
