Water cooler for Laptop | Best Liquid CPU Cooler
Ғылым және технология
In the summer, my laptop became very hot when working. The temperature usually reaches 85 to 90 degrees C. So, I had the idea of making water cooler for my laptop. Luckily, it works, now my computer's temperature is only 50 to 55 degrees Celsius. I spend 15 $ on this project. quite cheap.

Thank you so much.
I wonder how can the laptop case accommodate the pipes.
I have never seen anyone apply thermal paste this way !!! OMG just when you take it off I was already scared! you would have gained even more by taking the time ... and there is much better in pump and it would be necessary to leave the radiator outside of a box!
could you show how you made the block please? like a in depth tutorial @Homemade 102 and put a link to the parts
I feel like I'm watching the hands of the muppet chef playing with his food.
when u know how to do everything else, except being a computer technician. Joke aside, this is maybe the most interesting video about laptop watercooling on the internet. I was expecting u to show us how u solved the mounting problem though and show us the laptop drills for the cooling cable/hose. Make more watercooling custom made stuff to give us inspiration.

What if you can use the same original copper tube of the and make one hole and solder a thin copper tube for return. Then the hose to the radiator. Any way awesome!

No. Its a heatpipe not just a hollow copper pipe. Shit if you heat it too much they can ecplode.

@@YeeThirty actually it is a hollow copper pipe, what makes it special is the inner surface is not smooth but has a spongy texture
I was planning to watercool my notebook. First thing I see in this video is my model of notebook.
What is the name of the background music you used?
Hi, may I know how to make a mini water pump?
How about the power supply ? Which equipment you’ve used ?
Can i put a wet cloth under the laptop to observe that heat 🤔
I'd suggest using liquid metal instead of that white thermal paste, but considering it's supposed to be a cheap project, that wouldn't make any sense - not to mention the bad contact it would make with such an uneven surface. A cheap but good thermal paste such as the GD900 would do the job; also, clean better both dies, preferably with isopropyl alcohol. How are the internals of the "block"? Does it have anything to make the water flow more easily? Are you using distilled water?
@PhdHung
5 жыл бұрын
thank you I use cooling liquid in the engine. It resists corrosion
are you using tooth paste for thermal paste?
I would love a video tutorial to try the same on my machine
I thing it is better and cheaper to change the thermal paste with another high quality paste.

Good luck droping from 85-90c to 50-60 with termal paste at full load.
Please tell me you didn't use glue to stick your contraption onto the CPU and GPU. You do know they don't use glue right? It's called thermal paste and there's a VERY good reason why it's used

Good question
I mean... That's cool and all, but boy was that "heatsink glue" application terrifying... Trust me, it would be much cooler if you did a proper thermal paste application. Better yet, if you had the contact surface sanded with a fine grain sand paper, then used a liquid metal thermal grease. I was looking for an idea of a thin water block, and you have just what I needed.
